Every team does it but its interesting to see old cars in the newer liveries, redbull does it but its not as noticeable because they’re livery has barely changed but I remember seeing the 2010s mclaren with the newer livery and it just looked so strange.
It's just the Lotus E20 or E21 but repainted in the modern Alpine livery. It looks good but it's a sin because they just wrapped the legendary black and gold livery they had originally. Such a shame.
Where did E21 go, why does it always drive Lotus E20, why doesn't Renault show off their own R30 or R26 R25? It's really strange. Strictly speaking, the Lotus F1 team from 2011-2015 was not Renault's team. But they always use Lotus cars for roadshows and the new paint they spray is incomparable to the previous black and gold paint.
@@lotusteam-cs5wk it would be nice, but it seems like 2012 and 2013 are when the cars got the cheapest to produce and the most reliable, so most teams stick with those cars. Other years are a rarity to see.
Red Bull once produced the RB16B and RB19 at Goodwood, and Mercedes also produced the W11 and W12. However, on Renault's side, apart from producing the E20 and E21, almost no other cars have been produced for roadshows. I don't know if Alonso's performance at the Abu Dhabi circuit in 2020 counts, but Renault really hasn't produced many other cars for roadshows
It is very easy to understand that there is no Lotus F1 Team anymore. The team was on the brink of bankruptcy in 2015, and Renault took the team back. Strictly speaking, the E20 is not a Renault car, but it is indeed a car from the same team. Renault did not bring out the R26, R25, or even R30 for roadshows, so it is really strange to have to bring out the Lotus car and paint it with a new livery.
@@rianDgyMight as well save up and get an F4 or similar car and drive that whenever you wish. Some lesser known spec series have cars selling for as little as 10000€ and allow you to easily overtake supercars on track.

poor lotus got repainted :(
Yep. But I’d drive it painted any color given the chance.
it's most likely wrapped, I guess. The black on that car is matte black instead of bare carbon.
@@mArvAlcao71 It does look like the colored areas on the livery are stickers, you can see the edges sticking out from the black chassis
That must feel insane
excellent driving man!
2024 livery on 2012 car doesnt look right.
I like it.
It looks great to me.
Looks better than on the 24 car. But the original 2012/2013 livery is clear!
There's ALWAYS that one guy.
You're that guy.
Stop.
@@gavinvalentino6002 what
kudos you pushed it well done
drivethrough for cutting the pit exit
It was chilling in acceleration, but those downshifts
How many laps did they give you for €12,000?
My bank account is on life support just looking at that price 😭
2 laps, in description
They should let you drive more time and the full track, it seems like they are protecting the car.
Alpine V8 F1 car? Neuron Activation

Much cheaper to use this Renault V8 that other teams still use for show cars rather than the rare V10s
Cheaper, easier to use and more reliable
Why don't they show off the R30? It's also a V8 and it's also a pure Renault F1 Car

Oh $&&$ it’s France, the track that whoops me for no reason

yeah, its the Lotus of Kimi
