- A man was found fatally shot outside a Monrovia home after he apparently showed up with a knife at the home of a woman who had an active restraining order against him, police say. abc7.com/post/monrovia-woman-...
Self defense. Respect to the woman who needed to take a life to save her own. May she finally be able to live a life free from the fear and begin to heal.
If he actually had a restraining order and came armed to the victims house I don't see the issue. It's unfortunate that he died and wasn't arrested but he was clearly on her property, absolutely wasn't supposed to be there, and it sounds like the police weren't going to be there in time and she obviously feared for her life and safety. I understand detaining her just to get facts straight but it almost sounds like the news is describing it as she or whoever shot him was in the wrong.
WRONG. They never even suggested that.
@@David_USF I was talking about the tone of their voice. Also, nobody asked you dude. I expressed my opinion and that's it.
@@CJxLuvlyHey genius, I don't have to be asked to state my opinion, either. That's why there's a reply button.
Also, tone of voice? Nope. Are you a mind reader? Nice try, though. 🤣
To me it is not unfortunate he died. He was likely tormenting her and he would have been arrested and released. Unlikely the DA would file charges to send him to jail. Our jails and prisons are being emptied and closed. He would have at most done 3 days.
Now she can live free of stress and fear.
It sounds like a n armed Good Samaritan came to her aid. Because the powers that be want everyone to think guns are bad the media has to put the right spin on it.
Does anyone know of a restraining order that actually worked?
It's a joke, just look at gun laws. None of the criminals give a ratsass about those either.
They are just a legal tool so that police can arrest a person if they get too close to the person that they are not supposed to be near.
It does nothing else.
Right just like gun control do criminals really abide by the laws
He’ll never stalk her again
Paper does not protect anyone
What time did the 911 call come in, not dispatched but come in, and what time did police arrive? Anywhere from 1 second to 7 minutes is too long when an armed person who has a restraining order is on your property. As seen in the LAPD incident video of a man with a knife officer shooting video released this week, decision have to be made quickly 😉.
Good for you ma’am, you don’t have to live in fear. You don’t have to wait for the police to cite and release him with a future court date. You don’t have to wait for District Attorney George Gascon to tell his DA to plea the case down to trespassing to make the case go away. You don’t have to worry about Governor Gavin Newsom closing prisons for woke brownie points so there would be no where to house the suspect if he did harm you.
I hope you can live free of fear.
Keep this away from Gascon, as he'll side with the criminal every time....
Get used to it. It’s not safe anywhere anymore. Delusional
Always run, hide and use the phone.
This probably not going to work out to well for her. Unfortunately, she'll be charged!😒
In California, yes.
And if so, EASILY acquitted.

👌 👍
so Darwin award!
Hope she had a carry permit. The laws in CA side with the victim which actually is the poor woman but can be the perp. 😢
shouldn't need a carry permit on your own property and if she had one they'd take it away.
You don’t need it inside your home / property …..
Sounds like a set up to me 🤔
