Love or hate her argument she's correct. If the Gov't said tomorrow "Anyone that kills or injures someone from a self defense instance will be jailed" then thats the end of self defense. In fact some states require you to retreat even leave your house to would be robbers and if you don't you'll be on trail explaining why you didn't leave your home.. So to say the gov't doesn't dictate your right to self defense is looking at this with a major bias.
The proof of this is further in the pudding if you look more abroad. In many countries citizens can't legally own firearms.. Many countries women can't vote, go to school the list goes on and on. Look at something like North Korea where you can't even leave your town without permission. At the end of the day the govt is what sets the standards of "rights" not the populace among them. I'm sure those in NK, china, the USSR etc would have loved to be have been given "rights" and freedoms we have here in the US.

    • @j0fiz986
      @j0fiz986 Před měsícem +34

Men think unprompted, women only think when prompted to.
Shows like this demonstrate concepts discussed are the first time the women have even thought about them.
Additionally to this, men grow thoughts and beliefs from the roots outward and that becomes the “outcome”. This means if a man’s own wants and desires conflict with the outcome, he corrects himself. Women however start with the outcome first and work backward to justify it. The outcome generally starts with “I am perfect and right” for instance. They will only work backward however when prompted to because they don’t think unless prompted. So women can hold beliefs that are entirely ungrounded.
So in essence men are like a plant. It grows roots, branches and then leaves. Women just sprout leaves which appear from nowhere and float in space not grounded to a branch, to a trunk, to roots etc. this process only happens when you enquire why that leaf is floating there.
When this process happens (as we see in the podcast), these women are thinking on the fly. Just random quick thoughts to justify their position. This is dangerous because in doing so they end up adopting other beliefs, views and stances accidentally as they scramble to justify that which had no justification.

Legally speaking, there are EPA codes, which are treated as laws and CAN BE enforced by the executive branch of the government. Generally though, they just sue you in civil court, which then is enforced with $$$ as punishment. Also the burden of proof for civil suit is 49% less than a criminal case, so it is MUCH easier to find someone liable than guilty.

The statement she’s making of guns being equalizers is a 100% true statement.
If an unarmed male enters the house of an unarmed female, the ensuing fight is not equal.
If an unarmed, or armed, male enters the house of an armed female, by all means, the ensuing fight begins on equal terms.
In regard to enforcement agencies, it’s the government that makes the fight unequal through unlimited resources to the government agency.
By this, I mean, a fire team of all females kitted out to night vision and plates with flash bangs and gas entering a house of unarmed men at night, without those same resources, will absolutely result in the enforcement of whichever law brought the female agency to the house to begin with.
Andrew likes to run in circles and debate as if every man is strong and every woman is weak. It’s what individuals do with their own time and energy that dictate outcomes.

When we're talking about full scale war, men will be able to haul bigger guns, more ammo, for longer periods, over more difficult terrain, with less physical fatigue and joint damage. Strength comes into play again at that scale.
I've heard both male and female military personnel admit that the VAST majority of women have difficulty finishing marches without the men taking over hauling their rucks. They also tend to suffer joint pain and injuries a lot easier and recover MUCH slower.

The political analyst Mark Stein has noticed that the US government loves to arms all of its alphabet soup named agencies. IF congress worked the various government agencies would have to get writs to enforcement and give them to Federal Marshals. That should be the only armed enforcement arm of the US government. The rest, like the FBI, should be disbanded.

To be fair, there are actually federal EPA laws that come from the RCRA with regards to hazardous waste and material management. Companies that violate EPA requirements are charged $90,702 every day per violation. Technically this CAN lead to imprisonment if companies are found falsifying records or gross negligence, but the EPA doesn't have their own enforcement branch.

My wife carries a gun for self defense and you are largely right, but that doesn't make him wrong. The presence of a gun usually is enough to win self defense encounters because it is unexpected. But surprise aside, given the same level of training and equipment, most men will outperform most women in a self defense encounter. There are amazing female marksmen out there, but even Lena Miculek acknowledges that she has disadvantages to men because of limited size and strength.
