Yay!!! That's so sweet and amazing~
Seems super fun and enjoyable
Happy New Bike Day!
I manage a bike shop & love it when people get so excited when getting a bike they love.
Cool videos, do you have a strava??
congrats
Watching this video late but how is the spezialized better than your carbon bike you built? Is it better to ride and why? I saw your 1st carbon bike build and I was looking to build the same bike as Iâve always wanted to do this so just very curious if itâs better to just get the specialised.
Congratulations!!! Loved seeing the process! Have fun on the bike!!
Congratulations Sherry on graduating Ito "Team Specialized" I too am a new member having recently purchasing the Tarmac SL6 Comp which I intend to gradually upgrade the components and make it "My Bike" I have changed to Specialized from Giant because I have always admired the brand of bike and read many reviews. After a few rides I am far from disappointed the Tarmac delivers!!!!! I love Singapore and you have inspired me to bring my Specialized Tarmac up and ride the Island......Good on you mate!!!
Congrats! Great to see someone so excited for a new bike.
Your excitement is so contiguous! Happy for you. đ€©
I WAS SO EXCITED INDEED!!
Dat intro looks dope đ„ Love all the cycling content!!!
SO grateful for getting into cycling hehe
This video is incredible, to add on your previous bike fitting videos. I learn so much from it. I might upgrade my bike as well to cycle longer distance.
Awesome to see someone as pumped as I am with the new Allez Sprint, I purchased the limited edition which I really enjoy riding. đđ„đ„đ„
Congrats on your new bike! I have the Allez Sprint Disc and getting the new frame as well. Love the Allez Sprint. It's a beast!!!
Tag me in a pic on Instagram of your new Allez Sprint!! I want to see the colour đ
Congrats on the new bike ! I wish you some happy and fast riding ;D
love the bike :) and your energy , your home looks an amazing place to ride
Congratulations. Iâm so happy for you. You look so excited.
Congrats on your new set of wheels! You can feel the joy you are experiencing through the screen. I always had a greater sense of joy when buying a bike versus a new car. If you maintain a bike well through the years it can become valuable like a classic car.
đ„ đ„ Thanks for the informative video! Super helpful as I am also considering to get a bike and is overwhelmed with all the choices. Happy for you on your new baby. Hope to see you around on the roads :)
i'll be honest, the price of the 2022 allez sprint is not worth the cost. For that cost, you are able to get a full carbon bike with a full ultegra set. The allez sprint 2022 hurts my soul with their price point...
Congratulations on the new bike! Really great video with tons of useful information. Thank you! Also loved the Specialized face mask.
You noticed the mask! đ The effort was recognized hahaha
Thanks so much for the comment - glad you found it helpful!!
The branding was A1 in this video âĄïž
Love it, congrats!!!đđ
Congratulations on your new ride! Looks so sleek! Really suits you. Ride safe and enjoy. :)
I absolutely loved your vlog! You made the best decision and a very smart one too!! Thats is a top shelf aluminum road bike! Congratulations! Happy for you! I want one now
congrats, i love how excited you are.
Congratulations on your new bike!!!
love your enthusiasm in this viddd
I was so flippin' excited indeed đ€Ș
Congrats on great new bike! Iâm loving my SL7. Riding in Singapore looks very cool.
Congrats on the new ride !!,đđ»đđ»
Great choice! Congrats on your new ride!
A new bike day is always a good day. đđđ
Congrats! You'll love it! I have a Specialized Roubaix comp and Allez Elite and love them both! I went with the Roubaix vs Aethos or Tarmac when picking at this level because I go on longer rides and wanted the comfort! I also wanted the Ultegra groupset vs 105 as my Allez Elite has 105 and Ultegra has smoother shifting.
Congrats on the new bike đ„ł
Thanks to your review, I also bought an Allez Sprint instead of my initial choice of a Tarmac SL6.
The new bike was awesome, stylish and very coolđ„đ„âđ»â€ïž
Glad you think so!! đ„ Thanks for watching :)
Sick epic b-roll at the beginning of the intro!
oooo nice!! Grat's on new bike đ„
Thank you!! đ„đ„
I got the Specialized Sprint in Cool Oasis in 49 last weekend I am 5â6â and the recommendation is a 52 but for some reason my style benefits a smaller framed bicycle. I am so happy with this investment. Absolutely incredible build, reaction, feedback and smooth. So much fun!!!
Your height definitely suits a Size 49 better, definitely not 52. One can't merely follow Specialized's size chart.
I'm shorter than you by an inch with a 77.8 cm inseam and I'm a Size 49 on Specialized bikes.
Congrats on your new bike!
I got the 2020 sprint! I love Mines. The amazing color scheme they have available sold me on it! great choice on yours!
Which colour? Rim or disc?
đ„
Also, that intro music đ
Great video! I am looking to get into cycling right now and have been leaning towards the normal Specialized Allez base model just to see if It is something I am committed to and this definitely solidifed my thoughts!
great choice !! now you can race!
New bike video !! Yes !! đ„

What's the price in SG? We have a shortage in the US and it wasn't even in the market for that long

Great video!! Love your cycling content, super cool new bike. Aluminum is great. You should share your Strava!! I love seeing rides and photos.

INSTAGRAM FAM! đ„
That bike is fire!
Congrats on your new bike !!!!
Long live ALU Bike hahaha.
The color looks similar to my Domane AL Black with Tran Wall GP5k + carbon ultegra c50.
Enjoy the new bike! :D
Awesome video...I just recently got into biking since moving to SG...really getting addicted and thinking of upgrading my Merida gravel to a road bike! Two questions, where is bike fitting workshop and any recommendation for good local riding groups?
New bike days are always the best! lol
That epic music intro got me thinking whether I should get into biking damn. YOU LOOK SO COOL
DO. IT.
Welcome to the Club Specialized! Hope you my SL7 can meet up with your Allez Sprint one day! Allez! Allez! Allez!
đđMine is a Specialized Tarmac Road Carbon frame. Still in love with it after more than 10 years. And especially the Shimano Ultegra Drive Train. Super smooth, precise & quick shift. Spend a bit more on the DriveTrain, you'll be amaze at the difference in speed you can gain. Just try bikes with Dura-Ace, Ultegra, Shimano 105 ... you will definitely feel the significant speed difference and smoothness/efficiency.
which bike light are you using? looks cool.. is it the knog blinder?
Very nice, congratulations. There's nothing wrong w/ aluminum. I've been riding aluminum bikes for 30 years. Cannondale CAAD 10 is my road bike.
same here, a CAAD10 is the best Aluminum race frame...
@@jiggyjigs8261 Very light & responsive. Great climbing & sprinting bike.
I have a 2012 Allez, and a 2016 Ridley Noah, carbon. When I run the Allez, there's something about a Specialized bike that makes it move. I don't know what it is, but there is something there.
No shortage of stock there.. congratulations on the new bike!
Did you get a wireless shifting groupset like Shimano Di2 and SRAM eTap? They work great, and they can also control your Garmin (change data screens, etc)
Nice Bike and content! đ RSđŽââïž
Nice that you finally get disk brakes for your bike. Your bike looks sleek and agile. Black is an obvious choice for colour. Specialized is a good choice brand.
pure fun
Great. Which biking group did you join in Singapore for group rides? Or do you have separate riding groups now?
Gratz ! Beautiful bike ! The tan wall trye really match the glossy black frame. Tbh the welding on the new Allez Sprint looks pretty awful compare to the old one but it is really unnoticeable on black frame unlike those brighter colour frame. At first I tot it was really a SL7 !
Hope I can get one Allez Sprint frame soon from the Specialized NeverNotRiding Challenge đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
the new allez sprint is 1kUSD more as well...
Wow, all the editing is a crazy amount of work....Amazing!! Im from Perth (Western Australia) and have started to record a few rides on my Insta360 also - but you are taking the video, sound, and lighting to the next level!!! :D Do you use a softbox when you shoot? If you do come down to visit Perth - let's go for a ride! :D XOXOX James :D
you seem to love the new bike
Not sure that's an upgrade, but would love to hear your thoughts on the differences with your AliExpress bike. I would expect a full carbon frame feels stiffer and faster, particularly when sprinting. The Allez sprint is probably heavier as well with aluminium and disc brakes right?
Also if you're interested in the SL6 frame, the Trifox X16 is built based on the mould of the SL6 but is serveral fold cheaper
On flats, weight doesn't matter. Climbs do.
Agreed. Cant believe he didnât upsell her the SL6 with 105 - thats the best value and she wouldâve got a carbon bikeâŠ
Great video. Keep it up
Congratulations on your bike. I am keen on getting the frameset as well. Just wondering how well does the 49 frameset fit you? I I know itâs Different to everyone but Would like to get a good reference since you did some fitting with specialised. I am 171 in height.
52 would suit you better.
DAM GIRLLLLLL YOU KILLING ON THE BIKE !!! I do have to say sherry I am very jealous in a good way tho, my bike is in the shop still getting repaired for a broken crack arm still havenât gone out at all this year đą
Congratulations on your new babyđ€
Dream bikeđ
In love!
Congrats on the new wheels! Are you on Stava?
I like your bike very much and I am looking to get one soon. May I ask what was the total cost out the door?
congrats on your new Allez Sprint! just curious, what made you go with the allez sprint vs maybe a merida Reacto/Scultura or a Giant TCR since they are all priced in the same ballpark
I guess brand name rulez đ€·
she has good taste
i would honestly go for the merida or the giant at the price point. you can a full carbon bike with a ultegra group set with that amount...
The reason why i buy an allez sprint two days ago. Cuz i just love Peter Sagan
đ„đ„đ„
Nice upgrade
Haha nice! New bike day! Good choice đ
Must go next to Elite Customs and get Enve wheelset đ
Nice bike!
Welcome to Specialized family!
Thank you! đ„°
Yo sherry, quick tip on eyeballing sizing the next time you buy a bike - use stack and reach of the geometry of frames as a point of reference instead of the top tube size. Stack and reach are always constant, but top tube sizes always change depending on the manufacturer! Congrats on the new ride and hope you ride out in LA someday đ
it doesnt matter so much when a beginnner, first know what kind of bike you want, road race, endurance, climbing, ect... effective top tube is the most important dimension, everything else can be adjusted for the most part. novice's dont know what they prefer and so theres nothing to go by until they try it for months if not years. only when beginners gain experience will they know specifically what they want.
@@timtaylor9590 I agree! But my point is the sizing system is different across many manufacturers. Effective top tube, reach and stack are constant across all though. You get what i mean?
@@timtaylor9590 I shouldve also caveated that effective top tube and the manufacturer's top tube number can be completely different. Bike brands are so weird in this regard.
Any feeling with you carbon bike before??
đ„
Ride on!
cool, after watching your videos, I also became interested in bikes, Singapore is a great place to ride, I need to try when I arrive, beautiful views open up during the trip. You are very cool, smile more often your smile is beautiful. And motivate people
nice bike. Ride safe and enjoy
Hope to ride with you some day :)
Power you got a new bike.
đ„ thought you'd have to get an SL7. there was a recall on those due to poor design last year though.
How are you liking your Allez Sprint? I'm considering the bike heavily!!
Beautiful bike. Riding is simply fun. Please do a comparison video between your China bike then your specialize. I am sure alot of people want to see
Hot tamale đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„ You look so good on this bike!! Also the intro looks like itâs a legit commercial lol (is it?? đ)
I would love to film an actual commercial @Specialized @Rapha are u there đ€Șđ€Șđ€Ș
Very odd. I worked at a Specialized dealer for the past couple of years and Iâve never heard of the Aethos being described as a bike for long distance.
Its definitely intended to be a more âcomfortable bikeâ but still performance oriented. Along the lines of a Tarmac compared to an endurance bike like the Roubaix. Yes, an Aethos is meant to be more comfortable/compliant so it will in theory be better for longer rides compared to the Tarmac but just never heard it advertised as a bike made for long distance.
IMHO most riders should be on an Aethos not an SL7. If youâre a dedicated competitive racer then maybe not but the added compliance is going to help âevery dayâ riders stay fresher thus providing the ability to put more power to the pedals for longer. Opposed to those who ride 50-80 miles daily on a stiff bike so theyâre conditioning themselves for the races.
Just a different POV. Either way get on a A bike and enjoy! Preferably a Specialized đ
But people want to spend the most money to ride what the pros ride! đ
@@Chris-de2qc lmao key word âshouldâ.
If itâs not in the pro peloton it must be garbage⊠until itâs back. *Cough* TCR
bike weight? đ„ congrats btw on ur NBD đ
May I ask how much is the new bike?
Any strava profile link? Congrats on the bike
Interesting, from carbon to alloy. Should try out the tarmac sl7 and the Allez before deciding.
Why she never went sl7 is beyond me
@@rolandroland163 most likely because it's ridiculously expensive
Are those rotors 160mm?
very cool

woah that escalated quick. Try Specialized Diverge next!đ
Hahaha you know it đ Will work hard to "earn" my next bike!
