Would love to hear a deeper dive on the manager mentality. I've apparently had this is a sequential series of tech jobs and it always came as a shock when I got laid off... a week later. Then the same manager who gave you all the kudos won't give you a recommendation for your next job.
in my opinion, the thing is, when u know the person is far away from the supposed level, and he make alot of sh*t works bcs of his level, so its not about commenting on their work, u just knew that they're not in appropriate place, and they need more efforts and time to get the level; so its better for not commenting, bcs u will make million comment at the end of the day, just encorage them, then break up, xD. it's hard, but natural, they will relize that they r bad for this pos, and need some improvments.
