He did it, it’s just at the prosecution was unable to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt, due to their own incompetence, not to mention the interference of the police. And further, the jury was extremely biased towards Simpson.

Dude's mannerisms are the highlight of his career. He tells a joke like a story but many comedians do that. He can make you laugh just from his jerkiness and mannerisms, pauses, timing, etc. His timing is unreal it's so spot on.

He is a fantastic public speaker. I keep watching his videos hoping to pick up on his delivery and cadence. Dave and Carlin are the masters of speech craft.
He emphasizes suspense to make his jokes more dramatic. It's all about the build up and delivery. If he just cake out and said that all in a row it wouldn't get much of a reaction
The greats can make you laugh sometimes without speaking a word. Rodney Dangerfield had it too.
Dave is great because he’ll lead a joke with a deep history lesson or story, that engages you, but then hit with a joke that catches you off guard. He’s a storyteller.
Dave also pulls "comedic magic tricks" on you. He told virtually the same joke in 4 different ways and also progressed the relationship he had with OJ with each one.

After the trial, minorities celebrated that the justice system was finally shown to work in their favor as well. (Dave references this in another special, where he says people may have "Celebrated just a little too hard."
So the courage is pointing out how a potential murderer got off on a technicality, and an entire culture of people who were excited that another culture was pissed because they finally lost at something the other culture had never won.

Doing the "fourth time" as part of his encore is one of the smartest "callback jokes" I've ever seen in comedy. This guy's a genius.
Another one of my favorites was his “So I Kicked Her In The Pussy” Joke. He started off the stand up with that joke and waited until the end when the crowd focus was shifted he brought it back full circle. Absolutely Comedic Genius
