I've never been able to make it look that good. If this were lined, how would you treat it? Would you treat both fabrics as one, having stitched them together on both sides and the bottom? Leave the bottom open? You have no idea how many times I've stared up at these and wondered how they get them so perfect, God knows I've tried but then, I'm not a professional and it's obvious that you're are and have done this more than a few times. Thank you ,Mr Weaver! I found this easy enough to understand. I do have a question though. My window is 6ft wide in 3 parts. So 3 window to open. If I'm doing a swag, then it will need to be 24 inches wide. Do you think it will look ok with the 18inch depth, with 6 pleats?

When you say that the width of the swag will be 60 inches, you are measuring 60 inches on the length of the bolt that will later be the width of the swag, right?

So basically you need one yard of 60 inch home decor fabric for a 42 inch swag??? I heard you say 60 inch width... so the 36 inch would be the length.Thanks!! If you want a 36 inch you would need about 3/4 yard.

Hi Scott, Do you have a pattern for swags that will be mounted on medallions? For example, a finished width of 40" with a drop of 18" and a cutout of about 3" or 4".
by inches do you mean cm because I cannot get the measurement right
