Automatic Light Sensor Switch or Photocell Sensor Connection / Automatic Day & Night On & Off Switch

Hello,
I have an apartment building with a photocell switch that controls all the common area lights. I would like to add a motion sensor to the common area lights as during the day certain areas are still dark. I would like to integrate the motion sensors into the existing photocell system. So that when the photocell turns off the lights during the day the motion sensors will still be able to turn them on when necessary. Any ideas?
