    really helpful...
    you could also add turn on lights manual switch connection and
    turn on and off motion senor switch..
    please make a updated video regarding this and also what about ground circuit?

    Thanks you for updates but in normal lighting wiring we normally take the hot or supply line to the switch and we take lamp feed to the lights, is this the same case in this wiring cause i see two hot lines, please can you help and explain it?

    The _load output_ terminal for PIR1 will also power _load output_ of PIR2 because they all are in series. Won't this be a problem? Do you think 1-way diode should be fitted to protect each _Load Output_ terminal or use of OR-gate relay?

      This is exactly what I was thinking, did you find any useful information about it?

    • @Ash_G
      @Ash_G Před rokem

      @@dhruvmehtaphotography I bought all the components and in different models from AliExp, and built a test unit myself. No problems so far. My staircase has been lighting automatically since 2017. The 2 PIR and one LED bulb still going strong. But since I haven't tested the input nodes with a voltmeter, I cannot say if what I have done is correct/safe.

    • @dhruvmehtaphotography
      @dhruvmehtaphotography Před rokem +1

      @@Ash_G so this circuit actually does work fine without a one way diode? Probably the sensor have an inbuilt one way diode?

    • @Ash_G
      @Ash_G Před rokem

      @@dhruvmehtaphotography Basically when drawing your circuit diagram, treat PIR units as parallel on/off switches.
      Keep circuit simple first. One power source, two PIRs in parallel and one LED lamp. Your PIR sensor will indicate maximum load wattage it can drive. Some PIRs have 2 terminals but most have 3 (Live, neutral and load)

    Can this set up be switched with a dimmer. Example the switch with the dimmer is turned on and then the motion detectors will turn the lights on to the selected brightness. If the switch is off then no motion activated lights

    What if the motion sensor have 4 wires stickin out is the connection still the same ..

    • @eksine
      @eksine Před rokem

      4 wires means it has 2 input and 2 output , you would need to wire it in a way that it would breaks the circuit

  • @abhisheksinghrathore108

    I believe the NEC required a minimum level of light all the time. So the lights can never go completely 100% off

    • @slengineeringacademy2234
      @slengineeringacademy2234  Před 3 lety

      Yes you can. But additionally you have to use AC/DC LED Driver.
      Because LED stripes are worked from DC current.
