I am getting older and would like to buy the trailer down the ramp and left the boat float off the Trailer and as soon as The bow clearsThe trailer I would then like to Lower the trim to get the trolling motor in the water and then Press the spot lock To hold the Boat in place Until I can Park the truck, and then come back to the dock where the boat is and motor it back over to me. This way I don't have to get my feet wet or do a balancing act on the trailer.... It would be so much easier. ?????My question is what is the range in feet that the remote has to be within the trolling motor so that it doesn't lose function. In other words, when I go to park my truck and trailer will the trolling motor lose the spot lock command because I'm too far away with the remote, otherwise, I could just leave the remote near the boat dock while I go park my truck and trailer? thank you.... The older Ulterra that self deploys itself like you're talking about, works a VERY long ways from the remote. If you're 100ft from the boat and press spotlock, it will work. I know mine does that but never tested the exact distance but can confirm 100ft works. And also too, if you press spot lock and it locks its position, and you go outside the working range, the boat still stays put forever until you get back in range and press another button.
Talk about Brushless Warranty Motor!!!! It is very difficult to fit it.
Does this talk with Simrad NSO EVO 3 S for all the control capabilities you are talking about ?

No it will not work with a Lowrance unit. humminbird only sense humminbird and Minn Kota are owned by Johnson outdoor
