Nice review. One aspect you alluded to is integration with your equipment. In terms of the Ultrex overview, a a priority for my decision was the capability of mounting Mega 360 and Mega Live Target Lock...which pretty much meant only the Ultrex Quest for deploying everything at once. I'd have that more as a trolling motor specific feature that sets the Ultrex apart...even from other Minn Kota trolling motors.
I would like to get a trolling motor to mount on the transom - and would like remote steering or, cable control available for it. What is your recommendation? Thanks.

My question is if outfitting a new boat for Walleye fishing what brand to go with for trolling motor and all electronics what one brand for all as I want them networked together. I do not know yet if I want FFS. I will also troll crankbaits also and it will have to have at least 100lb thrust. Looking at Lund 1775 with 115hp or 1875 Impact with 150hp.

Will the Kraken let you use a Lowrance locator if you get a universal cable or don’t they even offer that ?

They're all nice. It all depends on preference of the software. I have a Garmin. I find it very easy to use
