The hardest resistance i ever faced as a central, was when they went for Austria first. Still pulled it off, but via oob retreat rules, an albania-trieste hit really sucks. I pushed them out, but it took some definite work.

When General hand Grenade said the game is broken (which i agree to a certain extent) i proposed the following rules to make it better for the CP. any other ideas are welcome:
“How about making Italy enter the game in second round, make Munich a second german production center (like UK has in India), Swtizerland impassable or 4 IPC, India can only build 4 units (its IPC value), 4 additional artillery in Hannover.”

I think those updates would help. Peter Magro and I were discussing some possible revisions he brought up in a comment on this video: czcams.com/video/iTZuVVLsd_E/video.html. What do you think of those?

Jonathan Meyer when the author confessed hes no expert in the great war you are in trouble... Italy entered the war in 1915, thats one turn later... if the USA enters in 1917 then Italy has to enter in 1915... and thats just an example of what could have been better done...

@@varovaro1967 It depends on how you look at it. Italy entered the war in May 1915, which is less than 12 months after the outbreak of war in late July 1914. I can see an argument for having Italy in the war on turn 1, but toward the very end of turn order. Regardless, you and I are both in agreement that the game needs some tweaks and re-balancing. Don't even get me started on the OOB Unrestricted Submarine Warfare rules...

In my opinion this game gives the Entente a massive advantage. The Central powers need extreme luck and/or bad enemies to win and they need it early too (over time the Entente outproduce the Central Powers a lot and their fleet can project power almost all over the map). I agree with your suggestions, it is this kind of changes that are needed. We've tried with Germany building units i Hannover, same distance to Russia , one step closer to Paris.

Peter Magro agree, what really makes me mad is how close they were to making a great game....

Thanks for the oob vids :)
