That looks so incredible fam! Love the idea of laying foil! Aside from keeping it clean, like this said, it also protects the side down from burning! Excellent cook all around brother!!đ„đ„
Appreciate you guys!
Mercy Hussey, I just got finished eating chicken I prepared on the Blackstone and now you got me wanting to thaw out some chops. Hey, see you on the next one.
Haha... Chicken sounds good too!
Awesome chops, yummy, thanks
Love a center cut looks so good đ
Awesome tasty looking chops right there! Love the foil trick to keep it clean.
Glad you're posting. I need something for next weekend.
Enjoy!
Those look so awesome, Mr Hussey!! Could practically smell 'em cooking!! Nice work!
Looks delicious. Thanks for the tip with the foil
Hope you enjoy!
Looks so good. Love the foil on the grill never thought of that.
Thanks KC!
Hey Hussy, i love how you always appreciate the finished product. I love the foil recommendation and may use it more often for other groceries as well.
Glad you found some use from the video. Thanks for watching!
Loved the video. Very informative and easy to follow. Just found your channel. Iâm hooked
Welcome aboard! Thanks for watching!
Just when I thought it it couldn't get better you cook this. Looks delicious .
The food was looking good like always
Nice chops bud, great little hack as well.
The foil and torch were both great ideas for this one! Fantasticđđ„đ
I think I use that torch because, well, it's a torch. Lol.
Glad you're back in the saddle brother, I enjoy your "southern touch" to some good groceries!
Those chops look terrific! My local grocery store just started selling cheer wine. Will cook some chops this weekend following your instructions. When they come out looking like yours they wonât last long. Thick cut chops will do the trick. Thanks again HUSS. đđ
They look delicious!
Thank you đ
I made those on my BS last night. Well, not bbq, but thick pork chops. Love those things on there. I'll give it a shot with bbq, next time. Looks wonderful.
I thoroughly enjoy every video that you've ever put out clean honest and friendly something that you just cannot find in many places nowadays if you only made a video once a month I would definitely watch it keep up the good work brother God bless have a wonderful day
I appreciate those kind words. I'm glad that you enjoy the content. Makes an ole boy feel good.
Good groceries, in the new and improved crib, brick , whole deck for all your grills , Blackstone's, big green eggs, portable kitchen, made in the great state of Arkansas, How bout them Hogs!!!! Damn it boy!!!!!!!
Haha... Thanks Matthew!
Another amazing recipe!!! I would have to say there is no one else on you tube that even comes close to your passion and love for cooking and the stuff that you make always looks amazing. I have made a lot of your recipes and all of them have been amazing. Looking forward to the next one lol.....
Appreciate those kind words my friend! Youâre too kind!
Wow those look amazing! Love the idea with foil and definitely the flame đ„ thrower lol. Cheers
Thank you! Cheers!
Chops are one of our favorite cooks, and there's not quite anything better than crispy pork fat! These look excellent, and that glaze is đ„đ„đ„
Thanks good idear
Looks fantastic. Love using sugar based marinades/sauces on the flattop for the caramelization, but yea, the mess. Great idea with the foil Hussey.
Thanks! Been doing with a bit with sticky stuff and it works well.
Damn dude this are some yummy chops
I would have never thought to use the foil. Nicely done man. I'm a try that out . Chops look great
Thanks đ
Love the new Cheerwine clock!
I like the sub titles with important cooking details. đ Great idea on the aluminum foil. Definitely gonna try this.
Glad you like that part. Appreciate you watching!
Looks so delicious.
Thank you đ
Excellent idea with the aluminum foil never thought about doing it that way.I bet a pork steak would also be dang good .
I love a good pork steak!
Boom!!!! Nice job!!!
Thanks!!
Hussey, thank you for hanging a clock on the wall where you can see it in the video it really helps showing how long you cook per side and how long the overall cook is :)
Haha... I wouldn't put much trust in that. Filming takes longer than the actual cook.
@@thehungryhussey I understand what you are saying but it is nice to see a reference to the overall cook. what I saw was ever five mins you flipped the chops you started at 5 PM and finished at 5:40 cooking started at 5:15 for the chops and the tin foil was a awesome and common sense idea, which sometimes eludes people like myself. great job and thank you for doing the videos that you do
Matt! Those chops look absolutely delicious brother! Love the idea of the aluminum foil and the torch at the end is something I definitely want to try! Great video brother!đ»
Thank you my friend!
chops looking good and tastie....nice job
Thanks đ
Hey HH! Great cook, as always! And a great hack with that foil...caramelized sauces with sugar do make a mess of a griddle top. Love what you do and how you do it. Keep up the great work...I've learned so much!
Glad you enjoyed it and got something from it!
Not sure which one looks better? You with the new haircut or those gorgeous chops?? đ Some great cooking tips in that wonderful video. Thanks very much, Huss! Hope you're doing well!
Doing well bud... doing well. Thanks for looking!
Great idea with the foil. I avoid using BBQ sauces just because of the quick burning and mess. Also - big fan of eating that chop with your hands!!
I tell my wife the bone is the handle! haha... Glad you got some use from this my friend.
Love me a good pork chop! Looks good Hussey!
Thanks for watching
Like the haircut hussey!! Love watching your videos.
Thanks my friend! I try to keep it clean. haha. Thanks for watching!
Can't wait to tryout, sent link to my brother in Florida toođ
Thanks for sending that along!

LOOKS DELICIOUS đ đ đ
Thank you đ
I missed this in one of your past videos, but can you provide a link to the "flipping hook" you are using. Thanks
Pork chops. Yes
Thank you !
Looks delicious never had good luck with pork chops on the griddle always cook them too dry.
Try and hit the internal temp of the chop at 140 degrees and you'll be good.
I donât even like pork chops but I would try these!
Haha... Well, that's a great compliment! Thanks for watching!
My gosh I would love to try those do you have a link for the flame thrower

Oh yeah!
Hey Mr. Hussey!
Those chops looked goooood!! The sauce looked to add a lot of flavor. Maggie was there, too!
Could you have used the Cheerwine BBQ sauce on those chops?
Oh yeah, certainly could have.
Avocado oil for higher smoke point or just healthier than other oil?
It's a higher smoke point.
I love the idea of putting foil down. Where did you come up with that? We love our sauces but don't love the clean up. Hussey comes through again.
I started doing a while back. Just thought about it really.
They look good...I would have closed the griddle for about 5 or 10 mins...just too cook them internally and keep them a bit soft...but they look good..
Yummy want to try this ? For you does cheerwine taste like Black Cherry soda?
I donât think Iâve had black cherry soda.
I have never had cheerwine lol
Looks delicious. Iâve never brined my chops, does it make a huge difference? Pork chop, fried sliced potatoes, sliced zucchini and squash and sautĂ©ed mushrooms going down on my stone in a few.
Absolutely makes a huge difference. Just be sure that the amount of salt is appropriate for the brine time. Better to be conservative with the salt and brine for longer, or the pork may come out too salty if over-brined. also works wonders on chicken.
@@jerryk9266 Iâll give it a shot next time. Thank you
I enjoy brining them. Gives them a little more flavor I feel. Huge difference, not sure, for me, it's another layer that wasn't there previously.
For sure, gotta be careful about the salt. Thanks for helping Jerry!
Hussey, Pork chops are ok but, not as good as a Missouri favorite. Go to your butcher and have him take a pork shoulder and slice it 1â-1 1/4â thick. You can cook just like you did the chops. We like them smoked more but on the Blackstone works well too. Oh yea, we call them pork steaks here! I guarantee you will truly enjoy it! Best wishes, Kevin
How long did you let the chops sit in the Cheerwine? Will be trying these asap
I went overnight.
Nice! But I might try that on my smoker at 375° and aear that fat edge over an open wood flame
If I were to go on a smoker, I'd go 225-250 until 130 degrees, then sear.
I wonder how they turn out with Mt Dew. I'm a big Mt Dew man myself. I got to try the Dew Chops. Might even try the Cheer Chops. I'll have to Google the Cheerwine though. That stuff is hard to come by down south of the North Carolina border. I'm gett'n Hungry just thinking about it. đ€€đđđ„Ž
đđŸđ„đœ
Where did get that storage container
You mean the container with the chops in it?
thats correct
What are you using to turn the meat?
Pigtail turner.
Thank you
Looks good! But pork steaks for me
Just another option for all us flat top grillers out there, when you want a barbecue chicken or pork chops take the grates off your gas grill and set them on top your griddle and then you can regulate the heat just right and have all the barbecue sauce you want with no burning
Why wouldnât you just grill them? I love my griddle, but why do I need tin foil and a torch, to do the same thing I would just get from my grill? Gas or charcoal? I BBQ, grill and griddle, and my griddle rapidly became my favorite outdoor cooker, but why do we spend time making more work, just to cook a damn chop?
@@jaredbaratono897 I only use a torch for soldering fittings, I use my grill grates because I threw away all my grills I do everything on the flat top now. So I can cook on the grates and the rest of the griddle at the same time just what I like to do.
If you want to know how to cook ask a fat guyđđ love u!!
Iâm not only a client but Iâm the president too.
Please use your celebrity influence to get Cheerwine Zero sent to us in NE Ga. We used to get Diet Cheerwine but now all we get is the regular product.
