    My husband and I just made this for our family. I love that we can both cook together on our Blackstone, our son even made salmon for himself. I'm a sissy so I didn't use jalapeños and I forgot to add the corn but, this was so amazing! My Dad said it's the best meal he's ever ate. We'll definitely be making this again.

    Matt, I tried this tonight. Overall, outstanding. Right after putting the taters down, I ran out of propane and did not realize until the 3-4 minute check and nothing had happened. Fortunately, i had a spare tank. The only variance was that I used only about 1/3 bottle of Italian dressing. The cook fed 4 adults and three kids. Three went back for seconds. The only negative comments was one thought that it was too oily. That is probably on me using more oil than I need for the cook. I guess I was trying to make up time that was lost to the taters and no propane. I will certainly try again.

      In my opinion, he used way too much oil on that thing. That whole bottle of Olive Garden dressing was just over the top. My arteries clogged just watching this video. I can’t wait to try it, but like you said with way less oil.

    Doubled this recipe for a friends and family gathering last night. Because I only have a 3 burner grill, I had to just make the single batch twice. Made the second batch with only 1/3 of the jalapeños to reduce the heat. EVERYONE loved it. Mr. Hussey, the yellow squash is a must. Thanks for bringing this to my home!

    Note: Never cook with olive oil if you're cooking at 350 or above. 350 is it's highest smoke point, don't even use it if you're "blending" it with another oil. Also you want your griddle good and hot before you throw anything on otherwise whatever you're cooking will soak up all the oil, you'll be adding even more and everything will be a sopping greasy mess! And just a tip for those that don't know, that last few 30 seconds on the steaks before you pull them, drop a tab of butter on it and allow it to melt, then pull off to rest. It adds amazing flavor to the steak!

      Toy had me until Jalapeños became the "Star". I see them more as a " seasoning" 2 to 4 peppers fine chopped and a spoonful of juice. Complements cabbage

      I don't necessarily disagree. But stay away from the Hillshire crap. Source a locally made from someone who knows what they are doing sausage. That's really good stuff

    The left over cabagge. Smoke it, remove the core and fill it with butter and we used "jane's mixed up salt" and wrap it in some tinfoil so the butter doesn't get everywhere. So good. any left overs mix it up with mashed potatoes the next day.

    Lol been making variations of that dish for 20 years, never called it cowboy stirfry. You could swap potatoes for perogies , there's a nillion things you can do, we always just called it fried cabbage, i think i got the first recipe from some Germans here in South Tx...

    made last night an it was great, since you forgot the squash you didn't say when they go on so I put squash on with the cabbages, TIP, put the squash on a bit later so they stay firm, probaly put on about time the sausage goes on

      BTW this looks delicious. Especially with the smoked sausage and ribeye. Thank you for all the delicious cooks on the griddle. I'm in homestead Florida and I don't dare use my griddle unless it's winter time. Too many mosquitoes and humidity.

    Canned corn, some of the nastiest stuff around - use fresh or at least frozen instead, much better option. As for the taters, I do give them a headstart in the microwave, with a little oil and seasoning on them before they get beamed up.
