Rest follows order for Arthas, Deathwing, Garrosh, Archimonde. In Legion, we had significant deaths, so they had to be included instead of just expansion endings. So, we have Gul’dan, Kil’Jaeden, Sargeras’ Imprisonment, Azshara’s Defeat, & lastly N’zoth going out like a wimp. Take care and wish you all the best.
The fall of a hero. Once to darkness, then to death. The greatest Warcraft character ever. And it is said that when he died, the fan base died with him.

@@Athelarius he was consumed by rage and hatred for revenge and he had someone who was to blame You see the turning point for him wasn't sttatholme It was the battle before where he fought and saw his people die and then he had to put them down again moments later when he got to sttatholme after that he was mad and uther instead of helping him just said some bs and left basically letting him make a decision in a moment of rage no wonder many people even in game hate uther and consider him responsible
I think it's nice how the story telling changed, you are no longer someone who just witnesses the characters interact, but you became the one interacting and that brings lot of life to the world. Legion was honestly a really great expansion. Sure it had its dumb stuff like the artifact system but overall i think it comes really close to being near the level of WOTLK. It still is below BC but its definitely the best expansion after WOTLK.
I don't think the artifact system was that bad tbh. The initial rng of legendaries was shit but I liked how you could get them from anything and it made me want to do other things than normal to try for it.
I remember completing nighthold and me and my guildies just started yelling "fuck yeah boys let's do this" after the cinematic we were so freaking hyped "you have seen what I have seen you know what we face Now mortals follow me into the abyss" is honestly some of the cheesiest and most badass things that could have been said after completing that encounter for the first time. had me straight up ready to jump in the twisting nether and bitch slap Sargeras with a rubber chicken after killing a wave of 10,000 demons
To me the nighthold raid was probably the most satisfying encounter in my entire WoW playtime. like they did such a good job for alliance players to seek vengance against gul'dan and finally shut this asshole down and they also took their time to build up Illidans revival, you know he was coming you just didn't know when, and then they put both those elements in the final encounter of nighthold and it was everything I hoped for and more. never ever did I have this feeling ONCE in BfA. such a shit writing and story progression. Legion truly was a diamond

@@tezzi2544 yes but they were possible back then as they were present in WC3. My main point is that BFA gets too much hate despite having amazing cinematics through out the expansion life; i admit that ending of Nylotha raid was not as epic in terms of "grand finale" but i feel like people take disappointing aspects and exaggerate them. No expansion will be perfect; WOLK was a shit show of bugs when it was first released. WOD was a barren land of content. BTW i am a HUGE Sylvanas fanboy and BFA broke my heart with her, but i have to also look at some good stuff BFA brought. Its not one of my top fav expansions but just give Blizz a break because if we keep complaining about EVERYTHING how will they know which aspects are truly important & Vital? Finally, just keep in mind that WOW must have a mass appeal...catering to many different kinds of player. this means that every person will find some great stuff but also disappointing stuff. For every thing you disliked, most probably you will find other people that liked it and vice versa.
I just hate how we went from adventurers to the heroes that ever major leader depends on. It feels out of place when you know everyone else is in the same position.
Yeah, went from people running around fulfilling bounties and helping people out to the chosen one(s). The biggest thing we did in classic was killing c'thun and that was canonically through the power of teamwork. It wasn't the chosen guardians of azeroth, it was a band of intrepid adventurers.

Am I the only one who feels sorry for Kil'jaeden? He gave everything for the Legion - his people, his family, his home - all for nothing. He realised this, and actually repented before his death. Velen silently forgiving him, with his expression changing to one of him accepting his fate as Velen lays his hand on him, is actually quite touching.
The fact that there always has to be a lichking is only said because otherwise the scourge would rampage through azeroth and destroy everything. (what will happen in the pre patch). Isnt it ironic how you didn't listen to the monolog and only payed attention when a famous line is said and then blame blizzard when you don't understand the events unfolding
Aupa Kaixo I know the scourge would rampage through Azeroth. The scourge could singlehandedly take out all life on Azeroth as the more they kill, the more their numbers are bolstered. Isn’t it ironic that Blizzard told us that there must always be a Lich King because the scourge would do that, only to get rid of the Lich King and not have the scourge rampaging across the planet? Pre patch event or not, we have no chance against the scourge but we have another expansion, meaning we actually beat them through whatever weird ways blizzard thinks of.
@@flo2052 while your probably correct, and we don't know what will happen I think that we will die in the pre patch and be transported to the shadowlands, starting the expansion. But how we get back and defeat the scourge will probably be established during the expansion

Whole idea of this cinematic is good in my opinion, just there are gaps in it. And ofc wht we do about motherfcking big sword? It was casues pain to azeroth, what about it? I loved idea of 8.3, but it was just... not finished, much more potential in world.
Yeah, allegedly we fixed the sword situation by healing all the WOONS but I would have liked some more resolution on it no longer corrupting our titan. Just having all of the red magic disappear from the sword through some final end quest or something would have felt so much better.
One thing i really notice about wow that each expansion is about a different set of characters.. glad to see that Thrall always show up again.. At this point i just feel like he is the MC of horde
I played the last 4 months of vanilla up to a week or so before Firelands came out. I came back briefly for the first few months of legion and stopped just before tomb of sargeras because job and life got in the way. But from what I can tell, if the art department wasn't absolutely out of this world, Warcraft would've been a dead franchise the second draenor launched.
Lol you think millions of people still play this just because it looks pretty? Graphics don't keep people playing your video game. I'm not going to explain to you why people still log in every day to play this because it's braindead simple, but I will give you a hint. It doesn't matter how pretty the world is if there isnt an ounce of fun to be had in it.
I mean, what about before lich king? That phrase just meant to sound cool... Really they defeated Old gods, dragons, demons and what not. Bunch of undead should not be any problem... well i know new lore sucks...

@@thomasfouassier-orsolini8053 you're telling me, IMO the only character in the lore to go on a full scale offensive, sack all of Lorderon, Quel'thalas and managed to unleash a fraction of his forces, if he had gone for the gusto, none would have survived.
My only complaint is Arthas was always on the retreat from defeat during wrath, Light hope, wrathgate, ICC, etc. they didn’t do him much justice in sense of tactical prowess. But, Wrath and it's ending was just peak writing and storytelling at that point. What a wonderful way to end an expansion and the Lich King legacy. "There must always be a Lich King, jailor of the damned for all eternity". A fitting tribute. Then Shadowlands came :3
@@Athelarius agreed, though the Lich kings plan was to lure us to ICC, kill and raise us to be his champions, Arthas or what part of him was left, held himself in check from unleashing the full might of the scourge. I never understood why the Lich king didn't send his forces to attack the main land kingdoms, drawing in even more numbers and spreading the plague across the planet... I wish they didn't just kill him off, but maybe subdued him or jail him like they did the DH's. However, he killed off many lore characters and brought the north lands to ruin, then sat on a throne for 5 years, all while enemies where already marching on the wrathgate...
@@I_am_Fred-788 maybe we can meet him in the shadowlands? would be nice :V
The fact that bolvar said he’ll be the Jailor of the Damned just got me

(Varian & Vol'jin's Death, Anduin Becomes King, Sylvanas Becomes Warchief) - Where it all began!
Hiya Folks! Just a fun video born from the boredom of quarantine. A compilation of all Raid Intro & Ending Cinematics. First is a flashback, but is considered the end of Black Temple.
😥😥
Arthas's death still makes me sad
The fall of a hero. Once to darkness, then to death. The greatest Warcraft character ever. And it is said that when he died, the fan base died with him.
Let's just hope they dont kill every warcraft 3 characters there. And i wish we can see arthas (his soul) in shadowlands even just as cameo
It's his slow path to corruption that hurts more when you realise his strong desire for revenge lead him to the very tool of his own destruction and that of everything he ever loved; his father, kingdom, teacher, lover, friends, family, and very lands he once called home.
@@Athelarius he was consumed by rage and hatred for revenge and he had someone who was to blame
You see the turning point for him wasn't sttatholme
It was the battle before where he fought and saw his people die and then he had to put them down again moments later when he got to sttatholme after that he was mad and uther instead of helping him just said some bs and left
basically letting him make a decision in a moment of rage no wonder many people even in game hate uther and consider him responsible
He was too stupid and full of pride, thats what you get when you give too much power to a kid because hes the son of the king
You know what all these raid bosses have in common? They all fall, eventually.
with the right party members.
do they call you the smartest perdon on earth?
But arthas technically won and lost just cause of an ass pull
@@kblacklabel Nah Arthas lost caused Blizzard nerfed his cc on Tyrion mid fight.
"No king rules forever, my son"
The laughs at the end... So accurate.
Even Gul'dan is too tired to chuckle at this. But that smirk seals the deal!
I think it's nice how the story telling changed, you are no longer someone who just witnesses the characters interact, but you became the one interacting and that brings lot of life to the world. But we cannot forget that this game is an mmo. Like yeah, i'm the greatest hero of azeroth, i saved the world from n'zoth, but the magic of the whole story fades away once you realise everyone is doing the same thing. This is no longer the story of an mmo, this is clearly a single player campaign.
Tbh N’zoths reign should’ve atleast lasted an entire expansion.
Floorboard isn’t it still ongoing ?
Ms Lobster no. I mean like, he shouldnt been a raidboss already. Cuz technically N’zoth is already dead now. Y’know. A major badguy who’s been influencing since the very start of the game. shows up in BfA and just snap, a week later or whatever, is dead. Killed by a bunch of morons with Azerite laserbeams.
@@floorboard9858 I honestly dont think he is dead yet. Nyalotha was only a vision of the Black Empire. It was not his realy body we killed.
Desox_AUX i really really really hope you’re right. But I cannot say I would be suprised if you arent. But lets keep our fingers crossed.
@@Delord112 He's gone from Azeroth. His spirit returned to the Void. Alleria said it. " one more voice in the whispers chorus now ". They'll all come back, eventually, as a swarm of parasite landing upon Azeroth in full Force. We have the last titan. They want it. All the void focus will be upon us now.
The death of Arthas made me cry. The death of N'zoth did as well, but in a very different way.
Legion was honestly a really great expansion. Sure it had its dumb stuff like the artifact system but overall i think it comes really close to being near the level of WOTLK. It still is below BC but its definitely the best expansion after WOTLK.
My only regret with the legion ending is they should have sent Maiev off with illidan.
I don't think the artifact system was that bad tbh. The initial rng of legendaries was shit but I liked how you could get them from anything and it made me want to do other things than normal to try for it.
Illidan and Gul’dan at the end makes me crack up... that sums up exactly the end of N’Zoth and the Black Empire.
LMAO im glad i wasnt the only person laughing at that part lol
That ending you pulled after the N'zoth cinematic with Illidan and Gul'dan laughing made me LMAO!
Illidan Defeat Cinematic: Satisfying.
Arthas Death Cinematic: Legendary.

That was part of BFA cinematic? I didnt understand :(
@@ianinsaurralde6497 no it was back in legion. Night hold end cinematic
I remember completing nighthold and me and my guildies just started yelling "fuck yeah boys let's do this"
after the cinematic we were so freaking hyped
"you have seen what I have seen
you know what we face
Now mortals follow me into the abyss"
is honestly some of the cheesiest and most badass things that could have been said after completing that encounter for the first time. had me straight up ready to jump in the twisting nether and bitch slap Sargeras with a rubber chicken after killing a wave of 10,000 demons
Watching it with tears, just cant help crying... I've been missing those WoW memories.
Wrathion: Strucks dagger in N'zoth's head
N'zoth: AHEGAO

I think a lot of us take it for granted that people like this guy compile the cinematics for us, I don’t doubt they’re thankful, but just let it be known that we appreciate it. Thank you.

“They will defy you!”
*Epic orchestral music builds up for a second before being immediately being cut off with Guldan just snickering like a school boy*
Not gonna lie, you can feel the story telling falling apart ...
Correlated with old WoW team retirement
There’s a pattern from what I see and BFA seems to share the same fate with cats and wod. Great start, potential to be great but just scrapped midway or at the end. Legion was a masterpiece, and their best work since wrath imo. BFA would’ve been good if Nzoth was done some justice.
I miss Metzen
Yeah, storytelling in TBC was so great and complex.
Or was it a merely setback?
It's pretty linear dude. You must not pay much attention
I didn't realise how much I missed Legion.
Illidan and Arthas. The rest is epic, but those two are legendary.
Well normal, ilidan thrall and Arthas was main heroes of the game, sadly they made them killable by players :X
Well I lied, ilidan wasn't main, main elf was tyranda but he was whit her xD
Honestly legion and BFA having npcs and lore characters constantly praising my character calling her champion and treating her like the best thing in the world has become so annoying that just the word champion triggers me.
Why that's been a thing since wolk if not bc
"O CHAMPIONNNN, AZEROTH NEEDS YOU"
Did you put Illidan and Gul'dan laughing at the end because it followed the terrible ending that was N'zoth?

Fantastic. I 've never played WoW before but Dota and other custom maps of Warcraft 3: Frozen Thone and Hearthstone and have a great interest in Warcraft characters. Tks for uploading these cinematics, they are deep, astonishing and spectacular than any Marvel movies I've ever seen.
Just watching this makes me love Varian Wrynn even more
Illidan's death in TBC is the saddest death of a character in WoW's history.
Just goes to show what a freakin joke the end of BFA was. That one still hurts
but Vanilla & TBC didnt even have an ending cinematic! MOP was the worst IMO, huge blue balls...BFA gets too much hate...it has flaws but people exaggerate it them too much imo
Ahmed Badawy I mean that’s an unfair comparison since cinematics didn’t become an actual thing until wrath
@@AhmedBadawy79 Here's on thing I will say in defense of BFA's ending (I agree it gets too much hate), in every other Raid boss ending a lore figure is shown defeating the evil, not us the player. Only N'zoth was defeated by the Champions of Azeroth. Not Jania, aided by the Champions, not Tirion aided by the champions, but the Champions themselves. We beat N'zoth & people are bitching that it's there character killing him....seriously. For once it was the Champions of Azeroth that truly get the credit for the kill & the lore characters that are in the supporting cast slot.
@@AhmedBadawy79 Imaging thinking MOP was the worst when BFA and WOD exists.
"When everyone is super, no one will be" - syndrome
It would actually work if it was a single player game
"there must always be a lichking" well that didn't age well.
I mean, Sylvanas disenchanted heirloom. Ain't that illegal enough?
It did age well, because what we see now is what happens, when there is no lich king

The Lich king created by the demons,to use the power of the dead, destroyed after the demons are defeated open gate to the realm of the dead xD
I just loved watching the evolution of the graphics. They all hold up really well but you can definitely see the increase in quality on the art team's behalf.
"Tell them only that the Lich King is dead, and that Warcraft died with him"
Am I the only one who feels sorry for Kil'jaeden? He gave everything for the Legion - his people, his family, his home - all for nothing. He realised this, and actually repented before his death. Velen silently forgiving him, with his expression changing to one of him accepting his fate as Velen lays his hand on him, is actually quite touching.
"There must always be a Lich King..."
Good job with that one Blizzard
Hihi sylvanas make helmet go crank
Sylvanas Be Like: me no like dis power, me break.

Not for nothing, but Anduin's punch to Wration's face...was pretty damn badass, and cathartic.
God Varians death hits me like a train every time
In all honesty back when I thought of giving WoW a shot after the Legion DLC came out(already was thinking about getting into from the WOD cinematic), I really didn't know who to pick. Orcs are always my fantasy babies and are my fall back, but once I saw Varian kicking demon ass(and realizing that if I was to get a friend of mine to play I'd have to pick Alliance because he'd pick Dwarf) I was really thinking about going to Alliance.

Whole idea of this cinematic is good in my opinion, just there are gaps in it. And ofc wht we do about motherfcking big sword? It was casues pain to azeroth, what about it?
I loved idea of 8.3, but it was just... not finished, much more potential in world.
"Draenor is free"
Yrel : Yeah haha free... have you ear about "light" guys?
Yeah, allegedly we fixed the sword situation by healing all the WOONS but I would have liked some more resolution on it no longer corrupting our titan. Just having all of the red magic disappear from the sword through some final end quest or something would have felt so much better.

Wrathion is so much more badass looking in BFA than his little sad self in MoP
"Control must be maintained... there must always be a lich king"
I mean, what about before lich king? That phrase just meant to sound cool... Really they defeated Old gods, dragons, demons and what not. Bunch of undead should not be any problem... well i know new lore sucks...
Blizzard used the bfa budget on the shadow lands cinematic at the end😂
Actually all the budget went into Sylvanas' 25th CGI rendition. The Lich King was just an add she had to clear during her weekly ICC farm.
God, N'zoth's intro cinematic was so great, how did they turn it into such a joke in the ending cinematic.
I'm for the horde but to be honest, Varian death was heartbreaking and Illidan killed Gul'dan the same way Gul'dan killed Varian and it's so satisfying :')
