26:50 I never realized, Gul'dans power wasn't the fel at all. It resides within his beard. Illidan knew this and grabbed it before it could muster any more magic.
The beard died due to lack of oxygen, which is what kept Gul'dan alive all this time.

Man in one expansion, Sylvanas goes from greeting Varian all chill and then fighting by his side, to trying to blow up Anduin's son with blight. And now she's abandoned us poor ol' zombies to play with some ghost sugardaddy in Shadowlands. I know "times change," but I'm getting some serious whiplash right here lol.

For a dragon (that too a former aspect) with fuck tons of power and skills and big ass wings, the couldn't sense that obviously powerful red stone coming from a mile off.
And then off course Elune has to go forth and do something soppy, sentimental and pompous like "placing her among the stars", just for making a stupid mistake and requiring more people to die in the fight to bring her down.
Whereas the likes of Varian who quite deliberately sacrificed themselves to let others live get to be part of the soot beneath the player's boots.
Yeah. Fuck that shit.

You know, I've watched that scene where Illidan dusts Xe'ra so many times (this cinematic is a lesson in consent, kids!), and yet this is the first time I noticed the blood leaking out of his palms when he catches Turalyon's sword.
I guess every time, I was just focused on the silly faces being made by Edgelord Chemical Romance.

When legion came out, people told me to go to the area and do it.. because she was my favorite aspect.. I was SO excited. Got to see her, help her, even ride her... then playing through the story.. she got corrupted "It's okay, its Ysera there's no way they'd not let us cure her..." .....she falls to the ground.. "YEEAH ELUNE TO SAVE THE---"
She didn't come back to life, and I stopped playing xD (Of course I came back eventually.. but it was like only a month or so ago.)
I balled. She didnt need a death. Especially one like that, to this day both the corruption and death cinematic is skipped when i quest through yhe zone

It's sad he died, but at least it was epic. He fought until he physically could not anymore, with the alliance at heart. And remember, the player is supposed to be inside the alliance airship with the other soldiers, so he basically allowed us to save Azeroth lol Plus, now we have a fantastic tune in Lion's rest :)

It makes me so mad that Maiev says "I would do anything to save Azeroth." BULL. CRAP. The _only_ thing she cared about by the end of Warcraft 3 was keeping Illidan under lock and key. She was willing to lie to Furion about Tyrande's death, march into Outland, and risk everything becoming Vengeance itself. No matter what was going on in Azeroth, voluntarily freeing Illidan would be the very last thing she would ever do.
Up until that point. She seemed very upset when she realized she had nothing left after finally defeating/capturing Illidan. She may have done some serious soul searching after realizing how empty her life is without him.
WoD and Legion really fucked up the timeline for me. I have no idea how people who were dead were suddenly living again, and no one blinked and questioned it. I love WoW lore but after this I was turned off to it because I dont understand whats going on anymore.

Badluck Brian I think it might also be because the stigma the game has becuase of the media branding it as “it will corrupt your kid” and “its for neckbeards only” which is simply untrue. I loved it personally

As a mainly horde player for many years, I have to say that even the Horde should hold a Varian Day each year. Pretty sure he's the only to ever command that level of respect from both sides.

I always thought Varian's last words should have been "For Azeroth" not "For the Alliance". It echoes the legion opening and seems more badass.
Probably because of the Alliance-perceived Horde betrayal when Sylvannas and her archers fell back.

I've always been 100% for the Horde (i still am when it comes to alliance vs horde) and never liked the alliance, but damn the legion xpac really made me like the alliance as well.

They could've made it more dramatic with the val'kyr thing by having the val'kyr smashing down on Sylvanas in retaliation leaving Sylvanas in a critical state forcing her to retreat and Genn missing his opportunity due to the blighted arrow.

there are a lot of scenes that are out of order. One example, is that the horde retreat from their perspective should have come before the alliance last stand, the gunship crashing into the mountain should have come after the gunship firing on the forsaken ships, just to name a few

I would love to see more factions/races. But not for Alliance or Horde! It would in my mind be awsome if we could have a third or even a forth faction (Legion maybe).

How do you get thoses cutscenes in 60fps ? I'm at constant 144fps in game but whenever I enter a cutscene, it's locked in 30fps. :/

Because most of the cutscenes are recorded in 30 FPS, some cutscenes featuring in game models and such do happen to be shown in 60fps.
Yeah I get the same results and I don't use vsync.
If I give you 30 marbles in a bag and put it through your marble maze, you SHOULD end up with 30 marbles at the bottom, not 60.. :f
It's funny because if I grab the raw data from the files they are just fine. In game fluctuates between 20 and 30 fps. Strange.

Not her immortality, as minus battle, she is already effectively immortal as are all undead. The lantern was how she was going to keep the Forsaken from fading away since they cannot reproduce on their own.
He wouldn't be able to kill her since she still got valkyr left who would resurrect her. Taking away the lantern was a more efficient way to damage Sylvanas.
