Not a correction, but love for Animal Flubs.
I sang “animal flubs” out loud when my dog slipped on the hardwood floors yesterday morning. (He’s fine.)
Then I sat down on the floor laughing at myself. The dog was confused but delighted that I collapsed down on the floor.
Tonight’s ‘animal flubs’ was unhinged, and delightful. Art imitating life.

Not going to lie, when Seth read my Closer Look/Closter Locke correction, I was so happy, then he proceeded to credit it to the wrong person... I haven't felt this let down since the actual ending of Lost. This jackal has never been happier! Thanks.

Since most corrections worth reading are obvious and repeat ad nauseam in the comments, I wonder if they try to credit it to whoever posted it first, or just whichever they saw first.....I'm guessing the latter.

Getting a correction acknowledged is always a thrill! I was lucky to get one read in episode 11 (Justifications) and then didn’t get another until episode 82 (Jack O’Lantern, not pumpkin) and again in episode 95 (Bird Bane’s beak). And now I’m stoked that Seth backed me up this week about that slice not being from Pizza Hut! 🍕

The Baze bit is exactly why you have to start watching Corrections from the beginning.
Edit: For those who don’t know the reference, it’s from episode 66. Not to spoil anything, but the whole episode is incredible and absolutely worth watching from start to end.
But if you only want the Baze of Glory part, the bit starts at 7.14, and there’s a callback starting at 11.17. Again, I’d recommend that any true jackals watch from start to end.

I think it's a pretty small number of jokes that are staff submitted, that's why baze is getting called out. In fact he's probably messing with Seth by submitting jokes.
For 100th I want a "Behind the scenes" or "How it's made". Maybe home interview with the jackals. I find it astonoshing if somenody actually writes these "jokes", I assumed they wrote themself based on the wonderfull jackal material.

Speaking as a guy who sometimes wakes up with "Animal Flubs" in his head*, this Animal Flubs is pure nightmare fuel.

The original animal flubs theme slaps AND slays. This one was a very inferior model.
I've been waking up with W.A.S.P. Animal (Flub Like A Beast) in my head. Slightly different vibe. Though as it's an earworm, just as repetitive.
Correction: you were correct that it should have been "Implied". An implication is something you make as you speak, an inference is something your audience draws from what you've said.

My husband was laid off 4 months ago in a mass layoff and I’m unable to work due to a disability… it’s been a rough time for us, but discovering Corrections has given us some much needed laughter! We watched from episode one and it’s been a way to forget our troubles for awhile. We LOVE IT! Thank you for giving us such a gift!

We all know that even if you end corrections, the jackals will never stop commenting corrections in the comments.
And they will become so pedantic and petty that the world will never be the same! Think about that before ending a safe outlet for these kind of things.

I'll be sad to see this series go. This is the only segment from a late night talk show that has made me pause the video so I can recover from laughing too much. Low-key, it has gotten me through some hard times since I started watching it around the time episode 30 came out, and no matter what - because of this series - I will continue to be a fan of Seth and his crew.

I was super depressed today so I decided to catch up on 'Corrections'. Just finished watching from Oct 2023 through this one and it completely turned my day around. Cannot wait for the 100th episode! 🙂
As the back of the card says: "Hiatus is a time to reflect on big decisions." May you reflect on the decision to end Corrections.
You KNOW how many of us love it. And I know it's an extra job for Seth, spending his Thursdays writing Corrections, and then making it AFTER the last episode of the week, when everyone wants to go home. But, just reflect on it! Will never stop watching LNSM. But, man, it's been a blast being a jackal!!!

I was looking for a comment about the back of the card. Gives hope to the idea he may have taken some of his time during hiatus to reflect of the decision to end Corrections and decide maybe it’s not a good thing to do. Even if Corrections went to every-other week, that would be better than none at all.
It will not be the 100th episode of Corrections next. Since you only did one correction last week that makes last week's episode Correction singular not Corrections plural, which means the official count is currently 98 episodes of Corrections, 1 episode of Correction. The next episode of Corrections will only bring the total to 99 episodes.

The amount of tension I feel whenever Seth calls Andy and the phone is ringing in this show is akin to seeing the timer of an explosion but you never know exactly how much time is left, while trying to disarm a bomb and there's somebody with a gun pointed to one of your loved ones.

Is anyone with me that this is actually the 98th Corrections? Because the Specjacular is listed as Number 51 in the playlist. But Seth categorically states the Specjacular is not a corrections during it. So therefore the numbering is too high by one.
so many people are saying this, and not one person is correcting Seth being wrong about 51 not being an episode. All it takes is one person to say, "Correction, Episode 51 is an episode" and then Seth will be wrong and we'll have 100 episodes BUUUTTTT I'd rather we have the whole "2001 is the new century" debate, where episode 101 is really the 100th episode. That's more fun.
You love Corrections. We love Corrections. The crew probably want to see their families. But mostly the first two things. Keep the dream alive!

I think it's a bit late for me to put this on CZcams for the 100th ep of corrections. I can only hope you hear about it: I'm sad to see it go bc it helped my anxiety so much. But thank you for doing it in the first place, out of a consideration for the intimacy of the shows from home that had no audience. It really did have a cozy quality to it that would have been jarring to just end from one day to the next. It was kind and graceful of you to realize that and give us an adjustment period. I had definitely reached a point of regularly groaning and grabbing the remote to hit Stop when I felt the podcast announcement coming, but now I happily anticipate it. The “have an established“ was hilarious, the “or don’t” was hysterical, and the double bird, Big Brother plug is simply inspired.
