I would like to point out that in Episode 3 of Corrections, Amber said that this segment is not good for him (referring to Seth). However, if it wasn't for Corrections, Seth would have 18% fewer Emmy nominations and 100% fewer Jackals harassing him each week. So, fair trade-off?

In graphics defense having to bring your vision to fruition has to be a challenge. "I need a Koala, dressed as a Braniff flight attendant, holding a frog what has Rudy's crazy eyes as as his head, standing on an ice cube, that's floating in a big glass of negroni. I would like to point out that the ACTUAL canononically current Corrections count comes in at 98.5, because depsite Seth clearly establishing that the _"Specjackular: A Celebration of CORRECTIONS!"_ was not to be considered as a regular episode but rather a "Outstanding Variety Special (Prerecorded)", it is still listed as CORRECTIONS Episode 51.
If this sounds like I'm in the bargaining stage of grief over the ending of corrections, that's because I am.

With the tease on the regular show I'm now convinced that Seth has just been toying with us the way any good Jackal plays with it's prey.
Actually the ‘stages of grief’ were never intended to describe what those left behind feel but rather the feelings of terminally ill patients about their own mortality. Therefore, perhaps this is Corrections bargaining with Seth to ‘give me more time damn it!’ 😢

I live in New Mexico. On St Patricks Day weekend i took a trip to NYC by myself just for a break from life and to visit the big city. As i sat in the airport in Albuquerque delayed for an hour and a half, the last thing i did before i got on the plane was watch corrections episode 99 and think how sad it would be if it ended. Of course I (jokingly) thought to myself, "hey maybe ill see seth while im in NY and i can tell him not to quit this amazing thing!"
Lo and behold less than 24 hours later i was walking up 3rd Ave and who do i run into crossing the street....Seth fucking Meyers and his two boys. I still cant quite wrap my head around the level of coincidence that is.
It all happened so fast and we were crossing the street towards each other and he was with his kids so i didnt say anything. But seth...if you are reading this now...please dont quit Corrections. It is the best thing on the internet.

My daughter Mara and I have a ritual. Our weekends don't officially begin until we sit down with pizza and watch Corrections. No corrections? We don't consider it a legitimate weekend. I understand you and your hard working crew deserve breaks and vacations. We understand missing the odd weekend because you all need to go to Tahiti or Dundlak or where you take your holidays. My daughter and I deserve our weekends, too. We prepared for no corrections one week. We accepted our loss and grieved appropriately. Imagine our extraordinary chagrin when we went to start our weekend this week and found this ruffianism running rampant regarding our recurring ritual. On easter weekend of all weekends. We don't get a legitimate weekend on one of the most important Sundays of the year. Shame, sir. I have thrown out Mara's Easter basket in protest. I hope you're pleased with robbing us of two concurrent weekends. I'm so upset. I need my weekends. I hope Mac Tonight visits you in your dreams every night until you return to us our ritual and legitimate weekends. See you at 100.

Please don't ever stop these! I don't usually watch late night talk shows, but Corrections randomly came on autoplay during the Pandemic and I've been obsessed since. It was Corrections that made me want to regularly watch a Closer Look!
I am happy to be among those who have never missed an episode. If this does truly end it will henceforth ruin every weekend for the rest of my life.

I started corrections a month or so ago and was told by Seth to watch them all in order. Being me i did and Seth went from my #3 late night host to number 1. My favorite moments, have to be the duel with the knitting community, ninja turtles, Pizza Hut, I work on computers and love to put it on in the background where I can watch. I’m embarrassed to say I’m 22 and like late night tv but there were times I legitimately bust out laughing in the middle of a quiet room filled with computer nerds. My favorite episodes are between 42, 64, 69, and 74 something about those episodes just really spoke to my humor. I wish you guys all the best, especially with that mini documentary you guys did just shows how amazing this all is and you just can’t help but have a great deal of respect for everyone in that crew.

Aw, BRO! You get me all excited and nervous - quivering with anticipation for CORRECTIONS #100 - and then you throw a bucket of ice water on me. After 99 + one "non" Corrections, I want to slap you across the face for making me wait for it. This has become an unhealthy relationship.
I freakin' love it!
I finally went back and watched all the corrections to prep for #100. Because of the way the playlist is ordered, with the most recent episodes first, you can't let it auto play. You have to go to the end of the list, and after each episode, press the backward arrow button. Each episode watched involves making a conscious choice to go more and more backward. It really encapsulates the whole corrections experience.
Now, that's devotion. Isn't it annoying that YT doesn't give the option of reversing play order on the playlists?
@@chezmoi42, yes, that would be such a basic function! I've rewatched most of the old episodes in order, but that you always have to scroll for 2 m before you reach the end of the playlist, then find the one where you left off - at some point, I just gave up.
@chezmoi42 it would be very easy for whiever runs the late night yt channel to go in and set the playlist to play in order rather than most recent first, I have to assume they don't just to make it difficult for us Jackals 😂

@@AnnieThyme It's not their problem, it's YT who should give us a choice of order, as they do with the general videos. I wouldn't want it 'oldest first' if I were looking for the latest video, but I would if I planned to watch from the first. YT knows how to code this.
I went to the zoo last week and I caught myself singing animal flubs every time I saw some weird animal. Now my kids won't go to the zoo anymore with me and I blame Seth for it.
Seth, I am from Northern British Columbia, was a young teen when the song came out, and I distinctly remember my dad asking why there was a song about the Ontario Provincial Police. And I got to be the one to tell him, at the dinner table, what it was actually about. 😊

After a full week of binging between work and sleep, I finally finished my full Corrections re-watch, and I’ve got to say, it’s definitely the best way to consume these. It keeps all the callbacks nice and fresh.
This show brings me more joy than anything else in the world right now, and certainly than anything else on the internet, and I'm going to cry when it ends.

Corrections is always like dinners with my family-reveling in long standing jokes (and feuds), an appreciation for sarcastically delivered bad jokes, and a welcoming to the party for all who get it.
Not everyone will, and that’s just fine.
I will miss it when it’s gone.
