This level is really tedious and it's "difficult" for all the wrong reasons. The actual gameplay parts are kinda fun and creative, but the vertical parts where you just have to dodge the weird lava monster constantly are so annoying. It feels really random and if you stand in a bad position, you can't really get out of it anymore before the monster hits you. You then have to do all the annoying, slow, auto-scrolling parts again that you'd probably be able to do blindfolded by then.
Watsuda Completely agree. I finally cleared it after half an hour or so, and my experience was the same. The lava monster bits were just awful, especially the second one which never seems to end. And everytime you mess it up, you get to repeat the same nonsense again and again. There were some fun bits here and there, but I mostly completed it out of stubbornness and not because I was actually enjoying it.
@@SilverArro exactly the same for me. I actually had to take a break during my run because I got so angry about the boss fight. There's just no indication of what to do and honestly I dont even think it is an exploit to stay on the right the whole time. I couldn't figure out any other way to do it. Then my sister who was watching me said why I dont just stay on the right side and I thought that would never work. But yeah I tried it and it worked instantly and the boss became a joke. The ideas are somewhat neat, but the level design overall wasn't good, especially the checkpoint placement and the indicators during the bossfight. Anyways I was really happy when I beat it.
I think I counted the 2nd boss fight to be about 70 seconds, which is almost impossible considering the space is less wide than the first fight. I couldn't seem to stay alive jumping around jumping for more than 40 seconds. I'm glad I found the exploit on the side because I'd probably still be trying it today. I love the hardness of the level and it stands up to what it was meant to be designed as. But I'm unsure Ross or Completionist could do the 2nd boss without cheesing on the side, he could had put a few hard blocks to knock down the donuts but I really doubt they'd had passed it.
I was stuck on the second lava monster part for hours! If I hadn't finally decided to look up a video I never would have beat it but thanks to that exploit on the side it was easy.

You haven't played any Mario sidescrollers? If you haven't play the original three or four. Four would be Super Mario World and then Super Mario Wii and Super Mario Wii U. Maybe the first Mario Maker too cause there are some good levels. Try them they are fun. You don't have to do all of them though. Can't wait for Markiplier and Jacksepticeye to finish/attempt this. Thanks for the guide even though I don't even have a switch. 😰 I only have a Wii, Wii u, xbox one, and ps4.
I really want to get a Wii-U so many games I need to play on that, including original Splatoon.

@@thehoneyybear you could get the nes, super nes, Wii, or Wii u. The only problem with the Wii u is that without the games the console works terribly.
