She blatantly lied when claiming that whole families need to be killed in order to capture a single gorilla. Shes describing methods used in the 60s and 70s, alot has changed since. Zoos transport 400pound gorillas between themselves on 20+hr trips just using sedatives or tranquilizers
Then when she was asked for the smallest amount of clarification or explanation she literally avoided gorrilas entirely and referenced unverified and bias estimates of chimp deaths?
which have different processes of capture due to their own culture/market influences.
It's laughable that she acknowledges the value of a gorilla can reach 500k but still genuinely believes wastedful methods outdated by more than 50years would be used.
She seems borderline deranged on this specific topic
