I've had my can for almost 2 years now, and its like on top my favorite "techy" items. I actually wipe the garbage can clean before doing the stove, fridge and other appliances. Its actually the first time I can have a garbage can that still looks brand new after a long term of owning it.
The $250 is definitely worth it, if you have already have a nice looking kitchen. 👍

I love love this can but after having it for about 2- 3 yrs the lid does not open anymore I just reached out to simple human finger’s crossed 🤞🏻 we get a new one

Great video! Didn’t even realize there was a voice activated version of the simple human trash can. I’ve been spending the better part of 2 weeks pondering indecisively over a freakin garbage can! Haha Never in my life did I ever thinking I’d be spending this much time researching garbage cans. Beside SH, I’ve looked at ToiletTree, Brabantia, and a few others. And although at first I was going to go with SH, I read some reviews saying that it had some design flaws. So I changed my mind about the SH. However, that was the stepped version. So now I’m gonna look into this voice activated / motion sensor one. Thanks!
My unit is still holding up strong. Especially surprised because my toddlers find it fun to abuse lol.
@@Babblingboolean I literally have it in my shopping cart as of last night before I went to bed. But there was a “15% off first order” that popped up when I first popped on the website and I do not see that any longer. So I’m going to start over to reactivate it on the website because the $467 worth that I’ve got in my cart will be a $70 savings with that 15% off. I’ve got a voice activated for trash, a slim open can for recycling, wall mount grocery bag holder, and a couple packs of trash bags. Cheers!
