I'll tell you what's ruining Cartoon Network......the people in charge think that kids have ADHD and are obsessed with memes. shows like Gravity Falls and Steven Universe are entertaining to even me because of their smart writing, down to earth characters and they feel like actual people. I'm 25 and I haven't even seen Cartoon Network in almost a decade and I'm currently trying to find time to binge watch those two shows because they do seem to have a lot of heart and charm that the old cartoons use to have. These cartoons now a days are so damn spazzy and boring that they don't have much comedy or good writing. Gravity Falls treats its viewers like they're not idiots and Steven Universe does the same. What's killing the network are the idiots who run it who want to pander to the meme obsessed culture that is currently going on right now and not doing what THEY want to do. I doubt writers and animators want to throw in 'me gusta" references but something tells me they're forced to do so because the higher ups think it'll attract kids, who they believe browse Facebook all day. Meh.

I completely agree. I woke up on Saturday mornings to watch that. But everything sorta fell apart when the art style changed and they swapped the theme song for that droning lazy one.

@@GS-vb3znTTG is a symptom, not a cause. It's just another victim/creation of "the race to the bottom", or the eternal search of the lowest common denominator to make the most money with with the lowest possible cost and effort.
Don't get me wrong: I HATE TTG. As a fan of the original Teen Titans cartoon, it honestly felt like the network was going out of its way to insult me when I saw TTG.
But obviously the Network doesn't have some kind of hate-boner for the original fans, and it's just a way to make money while spending as little money as possible. "lol random humour" as Spark calls it keeps little children stuck to the screen for the most time and doesn't require any kind of explanation from parents, so parents stick their crotch-goblins in front of the screen and use CN to shut them up.

ninjago did massively well marketing wise, it also was one of the most popular shows on CN, not to mention it stayed popular long enough to still air new episodes to this day, it has also been memed to death on many internet forums

Beam uThrow Cartoon Network had EVERYTHING. A bunch of cool and fun cartoons during the day at night adult swim family guy and boon-docks were the best along with American dad, then if you stayed up REALLY late you got a ton of amazing anime. Honestly even today toonami deserves its on channel they were limited in what they could show because they had to use adult swim and cartoon networks time. But god if they had there own channel everyday I’d watch that all anime all day. They could start with light hearted anime in the mornings and day time then as it goes get darker and darker like some Tokyo ghoul at 12am

How did Regular show and Adventure time teach you how to grow up😂
Being a kid that went from watching Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter’s Lab, The Powerpuff Girls, Flapjack, and Chowder to suddenly being forced to watch the live action shows that you avoided on Disney and Nick with the very rare rerun episode of a cartoon or a movie was such an odd thing to experience. I remember being so excited to watch the first episode of Symbionic Titan and Adventure Time when they did a back to back preview block about the upcoming shows. Watching Cartoon Network climb it’s way back out of its grave as a kid was such an amazing experience that shaped my likes and dislikes when it came to television and other media.
Ace was my favorite character in the Powerpuff girls, like I know he was a villain but he's a lovable idiot

Let me tell you what's ruining CN: *Remakes*
They hardly make originals and the remakes aren't that good; look at Teen Titans Go! (they completely changed the original and didn't even give us a proper ending for the original) Power Puff Girls (compere with the original) and Ben 10 (not as good as the original).
They also stopped good shows; look at Sym-biotic Titans and (in my opinion, their biggest miss) Young Justice (because you couldn't sell toys).
I never really got into Young Justice, but I must say that cancelling that show over Toy Sales is just Ridiculous.

The show literally had banger songs each episode that could have been sold as CDs but since the dolls weren't selling, the show got canceled even though it was loved smh. I grew up in 2000 so idk if that's 100% true since that's what I heard though. Can't believe they canceled Symbiotic titans for the same reason smh

Toast to everyone who got to experience the golden age of Cartoon Network together.
-I mostly hate it's schedule and how teen titans go and the amazing world of gumball are the only shows that air on CN(nothing against the shows I just wish they changed it to make the schedule more diverse) And what's worse, is that most of them are obvious repeats of the same show.
-To be fair I do think shows like the Ben 10 reboot(I just think the reboot is more serviceable than powerpuff girls)and OK KO let's be heroes are still pretty good and worth the time kinda like Infinity train and Over the Garden Wall.
-There are still some shows out there that are still entertaining sadly you only get your chance at that if you have a streaming service or DVD copy.
That exactly what I've been thinking. I grew up with the renaissance era, and would love watching adventure time, regular show, and Steven universe, and could easily keep up with the new episodes. But then cartoon network started filling the schedule with ttg and gumball reruns (with the latter being understandable at the very least.) It got to the point that they weren't running reruns of the other shows, and barely even advertised the new episodes. I ended up missing alot of episodes, and would be confused on what was going on when I did catch a new episode. Thankfully streaming is big now, so I can finally catch up with these shows, but what happened still disappoints me alot, and it can't be undone now.

I don't know if that's a good idea. Cartoon Network already did plenty of reboots, and they were mostly unpleasant. And even if they bring The Old Teen Titans and Ben 10 series back, at this point, I'm afraid they'll be remain as silly and obnoxious as their reboots and Cartoon Network will continue to milk them.

Sadly I'm beginning to think this is the end for the animation renaissance we've been seeing. Disney seems content to just keep one show like this at a time on their network to sorta keep it afloat, and CN is pretty much spiraling out of control again. As for Nick, well, they could go either way with this throwback stuff they're doing. On the one hand bringing back a lot of their Nicktoons from the 90s and early 2000s could help revitalize the network. On the other hand it could end up the way Teen Titans Go and Power Puff Girls did. Time will tell, but given Nick's track record I'm not holding my breath. I hope I'm wrong, but I've got a bad feeling about this...

When you make a comparison you want to use either the best of the best or the worst of the worst. Meatyy Loaf No clue why they knocked it off the shelf, they planned a 6th season but it never got finished and then prematurely cancelled with the movie serving as a finale, I feel it was similar to the clone wars reasons why it cancelled but I hope it returns, then maybe DC can pick up the crap they left that past few years the DC movie universe is coming back together slowly I hope they pick up the trash that flew out of the trash can and into the TV slots

1. Remake shows of popular shows
2 Some of the shows trying to hard to be funny
3 the strange Animating and plot with no point
4 overused jokes like butts twerking ( looking at you teen titans go)

Another problem is how they started filling the schedule with ttg and gumball reruns. I grew up with the renaissance era, and would love watching adventure time, regular show, and Steven universe, and could easily keep up with the new episodes. But then cartoon network started filling the schedule with ttg and gumball reruns (with the latter being understandable at the very least.) It got to the point that they weren't running reruns of the other shows, and barely even advertised the new episodes. I ended up missing alot of episodes, and would be confused on what was going on when I did catch a new episode. Thankfully streaming is big now, so I can finally catch up with these shows, but what happened still disappoints me alot, and it can't be undone now.
I grew a dislike for Gumball because of all the reruns and I hate Teen Titans Go to this day.
@@velikynovgorod4358 I actually never grew tired of gumball. TTG was kind of annoying, but gumball was so good and entertaining that I could never be mad at CN constantly airing it. I just wish they gave that same attention to their other shows. Hell I bet I would have even enjoyed TTG more than I did if they hadn't milked it dry. I liked the show to an extent, it just wasn't good enough for me to be ok with ONLY watching it.

Basically Cartoon Network has had several generations and each us worse than the last
I personally grew up during the start of the generation containing Adventure Time, Amazing World of Gumball, Regular Show, Johnny Test soon getting replaced with stuff like Teen Titans Go, Steven Universe, Clarence, We bear bears, Uncle Grandpa, etc
and the old shows were getting pushed to later times until they no longer existed
But now the generation I grew up with and personally I think that next generation (current one) is, like every other generation, worse than the previous

When I first started watching Teen Titans Go I didn't think it was that bad, but I stopped watching it when Cartoon Network would only play reruns of the same friggin episodes day after day. It was boring and annoying, also bad because I remember watching an episode where they were twerking and their butt cheeks were flapping everywhere and I lost hope for humanity that day.
