    So a few questions!
    How hot is your "hot water"?
    How long does it take the bubbles to rise?
    What kind of resin is this? Or rather, what's the work time for this resin?

    Better to use pressure pot.
    Putting in hot water speeds up curing process. And your adding heat to resin that will get hot on its own during cure.
    A pressure pot can be bought and made very cheaply.

    • @lilbohbeat5785
      @lilbohbeat5785 Před 4 lety +1

      D35TR0YM4N Careful! I learned (the hard way 😑) that applying heat to resin once already poured into silicone molds can go bad - quickly; it’s a suuuper fine line, even with low heat, and only takes one little spot that bonds this way to cause your casting to tear off that spot along with it - likely destroying your mold entirely - in order to be removed at all.
      Once this bond happens, you’ve got a worse-case-scenario stuck-casting... no matter how hard you try/mold release used prior/“stuck casting hacks” (oil/soap/slip solution, hot water, etc) they will not separate cleanly
