The old Mans 57 Chevy Wagon gets NEW FRONT SUSPENSION - coil overs and tubular control arms

This video we install some QA1 coil overs and some cheapy tubular Control arms on my old mans 1957 chevy wagon, it’s always awesome getting to work in the shop with my dad and getting his ride closer to being back on the road.

Your car is looking nice I had a question on the upper control arms where it bolts to the frame did you use the original nut and bolts Mine did not come with them for the uppers Thanks in advance

Thanks! I don’t think ours came with any either, I’m pretty sure we used 7/16 grade 8 bolts and locking nuts, I just can’t remember the length of the bolts.

Hey I got another quick question I am installing all of my front end suspension today and I have the same issue with upper bump stop barley touches before a arm touches What did you use as a spacer

We haven’t done it yet but we plan on making a bracket that will be on the frame so the bump stop will hit it.
