    These places need to show the people working for them how to package the stuff up ,so it doesn’t get damaged . I got a can of paint that was just in the box ,you got some nice stuff lucky it wasn’t damaged. I would have done the same thing with the washers . Looks very nice brad .

    I think you should have paused the video and picked up some anti seize for those coil over shocks. Now you have to take it all apart to lube them properly. It's a video. No need to rush through the assembly. The car will be great when it's put together. The frame and suspension pieces look great.!

    Do you have list of part numbers for the control arms and coil over shocks/springs? What are the springs rated at? This should work on a 56 210 post 2 door?? Thanks for any info. The frame is looking really good.

    • @MontanaGarage
      @MontanaGarage  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey man thanks for watching. The springs are rated at 350lbs, and it was recommended to me to use those with a small block. They should work fine on your '56 build, but I would recommend verifying with CPP or whomever you order them from to be sure. I'll dig up part numbers and reply again later. Good luck with the build!

    Happy New Year!! Not related to this video, but I am thinking about a rotisserie as my 57 project advances since my workspace is limited and an odd sized area. Being able to flip the body up on it's side, on purpose :) would go a long way in maximizing my work area. Was wondering if you could grab a measurement of the length of your rotisserie with the 55's body in place so I can see if it would work in my area? Just want to make sure I can open & close the door. Thanks much, enjoy the videos very much.

    • @MontanaGarage
      @MontanaGarage  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey Dennis. I measured the length of the rotisserie. It is 195 inches long as it sits with the body on it. I'm sure all rotisseries mount a bit differently, but with mine there is approximately 27" of the firewall to the back edge of the rotisserie at the front of the car, and it's abouts 24" from the edge of the tailpan to the back of the rotisserie in the rear. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else. 👊

    • @MontanaGarage
      @MontanaGarage  Před 9 měsíci

      My kit did not come with them either. Luckily for me, my originals were still in place and useable, so I didn't have to deal with finding replacements. Research tells me they are 7/16-20 X 2 1/8 knurled bolts. Good luck sourcing some and thanks for watching!
