    Beautiful! Great video, loved it.
    That’s one helluva car, Honda’s engineering back then was epic, nothing could compare - talk about race breeding. And it’s been taken a whole lot further here - an absolute credit to the engineering company

    I own an s2000 and I own a k-swapped Civic so I know very well if you put the k-series in the s2k it's NUTS!

    compare a stock k24 s2000 vs a stock f20c just with a shorter final drive, and you'll see that the actual torque at the wheels is not so different. High RPM + shorter gears > low rpm + longer gears. That's why F1 cars historically have pursued higher and higher RPM and not higher and higher torque figures.

      Not really. It’s more about useable power. F1 cars don’t need torque. They idle at like 6000rpm. They have a very narrow powerband because that’s all they need but in turn are completely unusable on the street. A k24 makes more torque and thus is a lot more useable in the same way

    K24A3/A2 should of been oem for the S2K. K20/24 T or SC would be hardcore for S2K if you wanted only Honda parts. Short final drive and that would put you 0-100km/h low 3s from a stop. Not bad for a inline 4. Fuel would be drinking like a Ferrari v12. Sold my k24 swap and moved onto inline 6 TT now.

      Hmm maybe low 5s? The k24 is basically stock so it's not making huge power. Gears and weight make the biggest difference

    Theres only one solution ( if maintining it n/a) to F20C low torque, wich is a shorter final drive. Its only useful for track but its the solution. The 4.1fd stock is very long. A 4.7fd is perfect and the aceleration improoves greatly from this

      I don't sorry - quite aggressive tho! Definitely 17's, from there I'm not sure. Maybe 9 wide and 35 offset?

    You didn't say anything truly incorrect about the bore vs. stroke of the F20 but the F22 is actually an under square design with a larger stroke than bore.

    The cylinder moving little has nothing to do with torque. Torque is all about displacement

      Yes but for the same displacement an engine with a small bore and large stroke will have more torque. The larger stroke provides a bigger lever to act around the crankshaft. Basic physics

    F20C has lotsa torque but only at 7,000 rpm and up. Ever notice how F1 and NASCAR cars leave the pits. Yes drive it like you stole it as the cops are on your tail.

      Even at 7k it doesn't really... nothing like the K24. Besides, even if it did, the whole point of torque is that it comes in low so you don't have to work it.

    I didn't hear where the power came on vs the original engine. Nothing about the torque difference. I feel like the presenter did a bunch of short shifting, Was that rewarding? I'll never know. Maybe it would be a good idea to start with a list of things that viewers might want to know. If you had, this video would appeal to people who are actually interested in doing a KA24 swap, and not just casual observers who never will. VROOM-VROOM KA SWAP= MEGA VIEWS AND $ FROM CZcams. Or maybe you can improve, and provide useful content that still gets you "clicks".
