Same I love seeing track vids, not with someone who doesn’t know when to be quiet and let the engine do the talking. Evan is the person who knows when to let the engine do the talking, we all love hearing the all knowing Evan shanks talk but we also love hearing his cool cars talk haha

Man, as much as I love turbo’d cars, nothing beats a high revving naturally aspirated engine. 4cyl, in-line 6, v8, whatever, it’s just such a pure sound and sensation. I need an n/a car in my life again.

Evan congrats! and my ap1 made me very humble about driving long time ago , it gets super upset in turns if you let of throttle which we shouldnt be doing anyways... and when its wet dont even drive it unless u want to drift lol

I have a built 06 STI, a 12 WRX hatch and my daily is a fbo 16 WRX with an e60 tune. I’m currently putting a 3800 series 2 supercharged motor in an 84 Fiero for fun. My next dream is that s2000! They are raw with the F20c but having the K is next level!!!! Thanks for the awesome footage and everything you do for the community 🤟🏻

BRO...I've been a subscriber for years. The Honda 2000 looks nice but you need the tonneau cover my guy to cover up the GAP and make the car more aerodynamic.. plus it protects and adds security to expensive components. I've still got one for sale on OFFER UP. Mike from Everett ,WA.

The s2000 is by far my favorite car, so happy to see that you have one! first easy mod id suggest is that you do the LHT Airbox Mod (that is if youre not going to switch out the stock airbox)!

You can get a 2nrs PnP harness for the VSS and reverse lights to PRB/rsx harness, and then just use Kpro for the speedo healer.

Love it! I know a lot of S2K friends and they love there's. I would love you to make a track video. I have a JDM k24 in my Civic and it has a similar sound. Can't wait to see what you do with it and maybe give me ideas on my K24
Snap oversteer only really happens when you’re pushing it to the limit in my experience and I have an 01 ap1 which is suppose to the one prone to it. I’d take the car to the track and learn it’s capability and you won’t be scared to drive it hard anymore.

i have an ap1. mine is mostly stock just bolt ons for the f20c. it is definitely a blast to drive. and your suspension looks a lot more bouncy than mine. i have the stock ap1 suspension and apparently its the best s2000 suspension cause all the ap2 is less stiff ive heard. very nice car btw ;) mine is also Silverstone Metallic

That Vtec slides smoother than my dms.
Check on the rear sway bar, on the early S2K's they had a 27mm sway bar in the rear. I went to a 21mm and it changed a lot on the car, no longer twitchy.
I went from a mk7 to a AP1 and it’s great to see my favorite CZcams doing the same thing 😂

I went from a bolt ons + dyno tuned b20v at 183whp to a k20 stock in the same car. Was shocked at how much better the K was between 3-5k.
This might be the best sounding k24 s2k I've heard 😳, if you do try to quiet it down Evan I hope you're able to preserve the overall tone
Aaaand just to add 😋 Honda's K series engines are just a wet dream for anyone that wants a (fun) fast car that doesn't break the budget, has tuning potential up the wazoo and in most cases like the Civic (i own an 09 Type S) is also an extremely practical car to own 😃 plus you can beat on the damn thing if you so wish and it will take it like a freaking champ and be happy about it 😁 loads of fun for cheap and reliability that can't be beat by anything
