I did the B18c1 cause it was a Lil more cost effective for me an I had the complete motor to start with .
I have a 98 Honda civic hatch
Fully built B18C1 GSR motor with hondata, sleeved ,type R head with a GSR trans ,an I did the JDM front end swap had mine ship from the UK
It looks so much better than the Civic front end
Supposed to be a 1000 horse capable but will have it tuned to around 6 or 7 hundred.
Almost there just need some more time in the shop an money lol

Can't wait to see the build on this. I've seen people run an AWD Civic but never seen it built. I have a JDM K24A with just I/H/E and a Tune and hit almost 250hp/207tq so I can imagine what a boosted K24 would do. ha. Have fun and love your content dude!

Hey man, I have an awd eg, if you plan on launching the car you should look into the hcp rear trans mount. I had the first hassport mount which bent, and had the revised version which then cracked my sleeved block, not bashing anyone just thought I’d share my experience. The way the hcp mount goes on is in a better place than hassport.

Evan Shanks in Puerto Rico we have a D16 with1,100HP Turbocharged and he said that the D16 is one of the best 4cylinders engine in the world and he is running 8.7seg 1/4mile going on 174mph
Make sure not to forget to swap over to the eg/dc subframe,rack, front lca. You need the subframe to chassis hardware from the eg or dc integra as well. The Ek hardware is diff lengths. Also need the hardware to mount the rack to the subframe itself and the steering union.

ek's are known for the trunk seals the always leak and rust out spare tire well area so as little rust back there means it was well taken care of for sure.

Well Evan I’ve been watching since the red subie hatch days. All this time I’ve had a fatdady plate on my car and never knew you had that nickname as well. And so I finally bought some merch.
Very exciting stuff here . But there's a few major things I'm not seeing or hearing any mention of. A rsx type s oil pump kit is 100% necessary. Rsx type s 50 degree cam gear . Eg front sub frame and manual steering rack . All of these are essential especially that oil pump .

Css (cylinder support systems) is not sleeves they machine in a block support system into the water jacket of the cylinders it increases rigidity and block strength compared to open deck design but they are not sleeves. They do awesome work had them do my theta g4kf block.

If I’m correct a stock K can hold around 600hp at about 20-25psi. I’d keep it around 500 to be safer

yo this works has a drop in fuel pump and filter for fuel cells and the bolt pattern is supposed to be standard with all fuel cells check it out!! Taylor ray is using one on his C6 comp car

you could try a fcs fuel tank
im not sure what oil pump you’re using but I recommend you use a k20a2 pump because the k24 oil pumps arent too good

Use to have a pretty heavily modified EP3 Si that had a Frankenstein motor (k24 block with k20a2 head) and a t3/t4 as well. The car wouldn’t hook for shit until top of 4th. Put a 6 speed and a helical LSD in it and then sold the damn thing for an SRT Jeep. I regret this decision every day. Especially after this video 😂
Humble Motorsports is a good choice for K builds. They are just a short drive up to Tulsa OK.
Make sure when stripping the valve cover you do not use sand blasting you will ruin engines with it. It gets sand under the baffles and the baffles are not removable
