Testing with the FT4X comparing its own rubber duck antenna and an X30 Antenna, and trying out the Yaesu SSM-17B speaker mic, in field conditions up on the Lancashire Moors.

Thr ft4x doesn't have variable mic level.

@pixeluser175 they are a good little radio. I get good audio reports on mine. If you want to improve the audio the speaker mic works very well.
