God... So many reasons to be sad, yet the guy has the brightest smile of them all!!
Facts b!
that failed pitstop was 1 of the biggest fails i have ever seen in f1
Edit: @Trilochan velmurugan indeed. Bottas now has the record for the worst pitstop in F1
Especially coming from the kings of pit stops
*Germany and sakir Mercedes has entered chat*
can’t believe how a pitcrew can forget to bring tires to a pitstop
@@julrudbor It was probably a rush. They probably remembered but were too slow. You should blame the people that told them to get ready

That was Ricciardos fault. He was late braking.
@@pascalsmid2806 Max clearly moved twice while defending which is very much not allowed.
@@pascalsmid2806 max moved across in the braking zone so really max got in the way and Daniel couldn’t do anything. He also moved twice

@@pascalsmid2806 Bruh, he was trying to pass him, Max was defending (dangerously). Of course he was late braking lol
Ricciardo's 2018 season is one of the most depressing in recent memory
His luck still isnt any better he got floor damage lap 1 of his first McLaren race😭
Did he tho
I thought it was tires that was the reason
@@sinyo28 the touch with gastly damaged the rear of his floor which made him lose rear downforce which in turn also made the rear tires deg much more then it would have been if it wasnt for the damage he would have likely blown by charles fairly easy like lando
I know right? How much worse can it get? Knew something was up. But yes you're right. It was floor damage due to that collision he had. Unluggy uce

To me when Ricciardo got lapped by his own teammate , last time this happened alex albon was still a regular F1 driver...
Notice how almost all of these clips aren't crashes. Goes to show how consistant and unlucky he has been. One of the best drivers on the grid

"Renault takes your wiiiiings"
maybe redbull knew Daniel would smoke verstappen with no doubt and they messed with his car while the other was running with no issues all in the name of creating the world's youngest champion. Respect to honey badger. He would have become a world champion if his team would have give equal importance to both the drivers.

@@humanbeing1483 Ikr these people act like they work there
Christian Horner: I think he was running from a battle with Verstappen
Ricciardo:
Most of his bad luck was related to the Renault PU so that would be a pretty fair statement, yes.
Ikr? It literally Max fought with a gun and a knife, and Daniel had to fight with a wood stick. That battle was unfair. Horner would have run away, too.

The Monaco fiasco still annoys me 😭
Same.
At least he got a Monaco win in 2018. Better late than never
And we're back at it again.

I realized that Ricciardo in two left verstappen was leading un red bull in 2018
He needs better, he can't be Verstappens bultter either
I just love it how about Ricardo just get pulled over on his last one
what going on. why is he always in the grass
Engine breakdown! Red bull used to have Renault engines before switching to Honda. They weren't bad engines but not as reliable as one would hope.
@@mehrandavoodi honestly, they were the absolute fucking worst engines on the grid. If we didn't see at least 1 or expectant of 2 retirements from a renault power plant we'd be surprised. Don't lie lol

Why is this recommended after his crash in Baku? 😂😂😂
Yes
pain.
Im not crying your crying
He never should've left Red Bull and ate his pride.
Red Bull really let the best driver they ever had go to a midfield team cause of shit reliability.
Vettel and verstappen dont exist or something??
@Virochan Sivarupan I never quite understood that. Renault was quite shit in 2018 in terms of the engine, so the logical move was to go to Renault??? Also how come every team Renault supplies its engines to is better than Renault itself? Holy smokes the team making it's own engines cant figure it's own car out, meanwhile RBR and McLaren were both outcompeteing Renault.
@@MPHammer I guess money talks, he was making nearly 40millions at renault while he was offered less than max's 25millions at redbull
@@samuelcoulombe8880 I find it really weird with Riccardo. He leaves red bull because "They only focus on Max", join Renault to develop the team and then leaves Renault because "I can not win the championship in this car" only to join another team where he is unlikely to win the championship. If he wanted to win he would have stayed with red bull.
@@Helld00d well renault did improved from 2018 with him. Also he's in his 30s soon he will have to retire. Mclaren is his only hope to win the championship as Mercedes won't take him and ferrari have long way to go
And dispite all of this he still get a podium in 2020
That's what happens with Renault engines
The Aussie did Straya proud in some cases, and this was a shocking season for our Riccardo. Next season he'll bring the Snags and Lamingtons and WeetBix for us!
He never crash, only no power

If you take that one awful season at Red Bull away it wouldn't be soo bad. Hopefully things will balance themselves out and he will experience lots of good luck in a title winning car.
And to make things funnier, I watched a tutorial on how to make an f1 car and after I made it, my goal was to find a minifigure to use. And, *oh ho ho boy...* the minifigure I used has a different racing suit, wait for it, yet the face printing and hair piece looks *exactly* like Daniel Ricciardo! Like, I could put a picture of him next to the minifigure I used and they look the exact same!

Red bull blamed Renault a lot in 2018. But LMAO Max’s car was fine most of the time. Only DNF 4 times in 2018, only 1 was engine. Compare that to Ricciardo’s retirements. 👀
Yeah ive allows felt it was pretty clear that redbull was giving danny the shit parts the uptick in dnfs was noticeable after he said he was leaving the team
@@crazymonk3y1298 Just like 2020 where Max caught almost all mechanical DNFs for RB. Or early 2017, when Max was the only one to DNF every other race with mechanical problems.
You don’t need conspiracy theories. RB were always crazy unreliable. Max got the worst of it as well for many races in a row.
@@theglitch312 it's because of the bias in driver 1-2 RB does it different. RB fucks over their second driver on purpose so a Webber-Vettel doesn't happen again ;)
@@theglitch312 yeah but you have to acknowledge the fact that this all kicked off after he announced he was leaving the team. i think the team decided not to upgrade the parts he had or they decided to use him as a test subject. but all in all, these are merely speculations, there are no facts that can back these statements up.
@@bk-rl6367 Actually, I don’t have to acknowledge it. Since that’s also mostly a myth. Ricciardo announced his move early August. That’s a few weeks before the Belgium GP. About halfway through the season.
RB also didn’t know he’d move literally monents before Ric announced it. And Horner was convinced he’d stay right up to that moment.
Before the announcement, Ric already DNFd 3 times with mechanical issues if I remember correctly. Germany, Austria and Bahrain.
After he announced his move, he DNFd 3 more times with mechanical issues. Italy (directly after his announcement), Mexico and USA.
At Belgium somebody crashed him out I think.
So equal amounts of DNFs before and after the announcement.
He did have more problems during the time after his announcement. But it can easily be explained by the fact that parts are likely to be older and used more at the back end of the season.
Somebody counted all the issues he had, and he had trouble every single GP. It’s weird, but the fact that Ric already was constantly struggling with reliability points to the fact that his announcement had nothing to do with it.
Daniel had more DNFs in Redbull than i brushed my teeth this year
So redbull have score the fastest and thw slowest pit time im Modern F1?
Only driver who could keep verstappen honest in the same car and by far one of the best drivers Of the decade if incredibly unlucky at the same time.
Hopefully Checo can do the same
