They were saving up for what really mattered, their children’s education. They were saving up for SAT tutoring and college tuition. They understood that these small sacrifices early on in life would set up their children for success in the future and for that I salute them. Many companies are there but I'm going to name Vodafone because I used it. They charged 14rupees for 45mb worth of data valid for 3 days for Internet alone . Jio came and gave 1 year free service with 1 gb free of high speed Internet and if you spent it a slower pace will be activated with free calls n messages. 1 year plus. Then now they are charging at 498rupees for 180 gb with free calls/messages. That's very cheap because as of the Vodafone earlier that would cost 56000 rupees. Ironic is now they start changing the system knowing most people can't simply change their number just like that.

I have worked and lived near a lot of Indians for the last 10 years, my experience with them has shown me that: 1) They work hard indeed, but that is because in a country with BILLIONS of people (India and China are the ONLY countries in the world with more than a BILLION people) in a country like this you are raise learning how to survive as opportunities don't exist for all, so they grow studying hard to have a job and then KEEP IT, that's where MOST of Indians I know are good at, KEEPING their jobs and not necessarily in the nicest way, in my companies they back stab you no matter what - and this is my experience before you criticize keep in mind I am talking about this group. 2) They actually would never CONFRONT and tell you what they think at YOUR FACE, it is not part of their culture, north south east west India, wherever they grow they never confront FACE TO FACE, but wait until you turn your back and they would for sure gossip about you and about ANYONE who represents a threat to their status quo, their job stability and their survival. 3) Yes most Indians are Nice - At your face, but I never be sure if that's how they are at your back. I work as a grocery delivery man for Shipt. And I agree that this is in fact true! My customers with Indian ethnic background rarely tip, very rarely. And some of them demand the highest customer service too. LOL.
This is because India has no system of tip, though it is slowly growing. Actually the amount you get as tip in your country is added in bill in India Like for a service of Rs100 a company/store may charge Rs30-60 solely for the delivery boy. So we usually don't give tip. In foreign countries we get a little self conscious and try to hide our cheapness but when we are in our own place, we haggle for 1 rupees which is not even 1 cent. That’s how cheap we can get. I have worked and lived near a lot of Indians for the last 10 years, my experience with them has shown me that: 1) They work hard indeed, but that is because in a country with BILLIONS of people (India and China are the ONLY countries in the world with more than a BILLION people) in a country like this you are raise learning how to survive as opportunities don't exist for all, so they grow studying hard to have a job and then KEEP IT, that's where MOST of Indians I know are good at, KEEPING their jobs and not necessarily in the nicest way, in my companies they back stab you no matter what - and this is my experience before you criticize keep in mind I am talking about this group. 2) They actually would never CONFRONT and tell you what they think at YOUR FACE, it is not part of their culture, north south east west India, wherever they grow they never confront FACE TO FACE, but wait until you turn your back and they would for sure gossip about you and about ANYONE who represents a threat to their status quo, their job stability and their survival. 3) Yes most Indians are Nice - At your face, but I never be sure if that's how they are at your back.
