That's keyless entry for you! Don't need it! It was never a problem to press the button on the key to open the vehicle.

The car will be parked up because they will suspect the car has a tracker hope so. Buy a Faraday type box and keep you car keys in them because then scanned your house and the key signal. If it wasn't your it would of been a neighbours.

Agreed about the Faraday box/pouch. I use a pouch and have been placing it in one for years now and am use to doing it every time I'm not using the car and it only take seconds to put it in and take it out. 👍

A long shot - but can you use your BMW mobile phone app to see where the car is? As previous comments, they usually park it up for day or two to make sure it can’t be tracked. Good luck on getting it back
the police did track it to Essex , but the phone app long stopped working as it would seem they have a way to disable it

long gone tbf probably now on cloned plates and being used in a similar burglary police will be next to useless keyed cars all the way keyless far to risky trouble is the higher end car are default keyless nightmare.

Doubt it ...looked like an organised gang and was couple more done in the area...gutted as took us ages to find and save up for the car .
@AdeReeves shows you just how easy it is to take keyless cars. Not nice though when it happens. My mate had at S3 stolen few years ago. Never did see it again
