It appears that the location of the metering diaph. and it's gasket was incorrect. the gasket goes on the carb. then the diaph. on top next to the cover . this preserves the correct relationship of the lever and diaph. pin for correct fuel height. by incorrect placement u lower the pin to the lever raising the fuel level w possible flooding/ overrich mix.
I know the trouble with that throttle linkage, I just replaced the fuel lines and have to rebuild the carburetor now. Thanks for the video!

I see this all the time in the shop, most people just don’t watch what there doing 😊😊😊 but it’s a living for me ❤
It’s AllWAYS best to replace fuel hoses, filter and kit the carb and for sure a new air filter 😊😊😊

That paper gasket left on the carb base was telling you it is wrong Sir😊
