  • Gotway Monster Seat $75
    There is an adjustment of about a week getting used to riding sitting down. After that, you’ll really appreciate the seat giving your feet a break on long rides. Another advantage of sitting down is there is less the wind resistance so you get more miles per charge or if you like, go a little bit faster (not recommended)

    Cool wheel, but why no turn signals◀▶? What is the name and model? What modernization done? Is there a gyroscope(not fall)? Utub: моноколесо. Обычный день моноколёсника. You like 👍. Good luck.

      Cool,, especially on a EUC made for long rides. It looks more comfortable than the one on the Kingsong 18, which is less tall and more narrow.

    • @CitiWheel
      @CitiWheel  Před 7 lety +3

      Dingfelder Smurfalot yeah I def think it's the way to go if you ride 5+ miles each way. You're feet won't get tired at all

    What is your feeling on the Monster these days? Do you all still like this wheel or has it been surpassed by all the newer wheels that are coming out. Have you had a chance to ride Tishawn’s 100v version? I have owned many wheels of all sizes, but never the Monster. I would love to be able to master the sit down ride. It was a struggle for me on the ks18s. I’m 6’3”, but I know there are taller guys who can do it. Thanks for your videos.

    • @CitiWheel
      @CitiWheel  Před 6 lety +1

      +knifesketch101 I still think the monster is the best seated wheel but if you look at my Monster vs kingsong 18s video, you’ll see the heights are very similar so I’m not sure if it would work for you. I don’t think it’s been surpassed by the newer wheels yet because the tire diameter still makes it the most comfortable ride. I haven’t had a chance to ride tishawn monster yet but he’s ridden both versions and he tells me it’s much faster with the 100V batteries.

    • @knifesketch101
      @knifesketch101 Před 6 lety

      Citi Wheel yeah, I’m not sure the price on the Monster is worth it if I’m not able to utilize the seat. The MsuperX is an option for comfort at a lower price. Now gotway puts out the 100v version before the 84v

    • @knifesketch101
      @knifesketch101 Před 6 lety

      Now Gotway puts out 100v version before the 84v has even hit the US. Too many choices. Interesting tile for wheels. I’m a little bit addicted I think.

    • @kmg501
      @kmg501 Před 5 lety

      I'm not an expert but from what I have seen so far Gotway has engineering or manufacturing issues, maybe both. Being seated sure is an attractive idea but in my case that will have to wait, and I want to see what future product offerings are. I am also very concerned that certain riders are going to piss off the public and swing legislators against this mode of transportation.

      +shayne caesar it’s the 84V 2400WH version. The 100V wasn’t released yet when we made this video. Range is 50 to 100 miles, depending on speed, rider weight, and temperature.

    Do you ever get stopped by police riding these things? I live in Manhattan and I wanna get one too but I might get an electric longboard like the evolve carbon GT because it's more low key. I just don't wanna be bothered by police.

    • @CitiWheel
      @CitiWheel  Před 7 lety +2

      Lemuel Rivera i've been riding them for over two years now in Manhattan and I've never been stopped. The electric skateboards are obviously less conspicuous and easier to learn how to ride but the electric unicycles have better maneuverability, which really comes in handy when the bike lanes get too crowded. If you're interested in trying one out, I'm selling one of my older unicycles

    • @jessa.3857
      @jessa.3857 Před 6 lety +1

      I ride my bike on the West Side in Manhattan and I've seen cops pulling over delivery guys on their electric bikes handing them tickets. My understanding is that ANY kind of electric motorized vehicle can get you pulled over by the cops and given a summons because they are illegal in NYC. I want an electric scooter to get around but have currently decided not to since I hate getting tickets.

    • @DavidThomas-fb8bq
      @DavidThomas-fb8bq Před 3 lety

      In UK there are so many electric scooters that the police gave up. Most people are responsible and are using them for work. They're still illegal but the law might have to change soon

Just shows you how many people are tourists that live in Manhattan ... in an advanced city like New York, the capital of the world 🌎 you would 💭 it would be more advanced ... it's pretty sad people can't even walk without getting hit by a car these days.
