My wife lived in San Sebastian for 6 years and I loved exploring Basque cuisine.

This video popped up in my feed randomly and I’m so glad it did! My grandparents used to take us down to San Sebastián when we would do our basque tour, they loved stopping by various pintxos when we would be in the city.

Wonderful video ! Are most if not all of the pintxos bars open in San Sebastián now? If not when do you think they will open? Do you find the menus limited from before COVID? Many thanks in advance!

Thanks for watching the video and for your questions. Pais Vasco has different restrictions, but the pintxos bars should be open. However, the hours are different than before COVID. I did not find the menus limited for pintxos. Contact me if you need assistance booking and designing your trip to Spain. Many thanks!

Hi, thanks for sharing the video. Food looks great. Is it more expensive there than Madrid? How much did you beer/tuna sandwich cost for example?

Hi, and thanks for watching. The prices are slightly less than Madrid, but it all depends on the location. I spent around 5 euros for both. I hope this information is helpful. Contact me if you need assistance with a trip design to Spain. Enjoy.

Thanks for sharing your experiences and video. How careful are they about covid and making sure everyone is wearing masks and caring for the local people?

I was in Pais Vasco/Basque Country during the summer of 2020. Masks were not mandatory in public spaces at the time, but that has changed. All 17 regions in Spain now require masks in all public spaces. We are currently in a state of alarm in Madrid and vaccinations continue daily. Spain will open up to all international travelers June 1, 2021 who have been vaccinated and also travelers who have a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival in Spain. Thanks for watching the video and for your feedback.
