Moong Dal - 1 Cup ( 250 Ml ) (Buy: amzn.to/47nFtw9)
Water
Garlic - 1 Tsp
Ginger - 1 Tsp
Green Chilli - 2nos
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/2RC4fm4)
Chilli Powder - 2 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/3b4yHyg)
Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp
Salt - 1 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/2vg124l)
Onion - 2 Nos
Cabbage - 1 Bowl
Besan / Gram Flour - 3 Tbsp
Coriander Leaves
Oil (Buy: amzn.to/3KxgtsM)
Method
Take one cup (250ML) of moong dhal, wash it, pour enough water and soak it for two hours.
After two hours, remove all excess water, transfer it to a mixer jar, and grind smoothly.
To the batter, add one tsp of grated garlic, one tsp of grated ginger, two green chillies finely chopped, half tsp of turmeric powder, two tsps. Of red chilli powder, one tsp cumin powder, one tsp salt and mix well.
To the batter, add two onions thinly sliced, a bowl of nicely shredded cabbage and mix well again.
Add, three tbsp. of gram flour, finely chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
To a small pan, add two tsp of oil, spread across the pan, take little bit of the pan cake mixture, place it on the pan, spread evenly nice and thick.
Close the pan and cook the pan cakes for seven minutes on a low flame.
Once one side is cooked, gently flip it to the other side. Leaving the pan open, cook for another 5-7 minutes.
Protein rich lentil pan cakes are ready to be served with any dip of your choice.

This looks delicious and I am already thinking about alternative vegetables and spices to add. To do for breakfast you would really need to think ahead and maybe soak the lentils overnight to save time. This equally looks like aa nice lunch or snack.

Hey you can use the potato slicer you'll get fine shredded cabbage
@@saarulathashanmugham3702 With a food processor, u can get it as fine as u want. Plus, its a lot less effort than grating:)
buy in a store already shreded
If you use the potato slicer of normal stainless steel grater you get that shredded cabbage

Try Kashmiri chilli as it's really mild yet gives a fruity chilli taste
