Thanks folks 😊 - Zábava
I love a really dark fretboard.
Ain’t nothing wrong with that Tele. Hats off to the builder. You sound great as always Paul. Thank you Sir.
Thanks Ben, glad you liked it 😊
You really have mastered bending in tune Paul...it's impressive. Almost like a pedal steel or a B bender
Thanks Greg! My wee fingers hurt now 🤣
Nice work on Blues for Roy. I can't even get close.
Thanks man. When I compare mine to Jim’s original….. yeah, I can’t get close either 🤣
Ah the swedish sharkfin pick!
Yes, from day 1 it’s been my pick of choice 🤣.
That's a beautiful looking and sounding guitar.
Top finish seems top quality, handsome one!
Sounding great Paul! Just got a rosewood board tele myself and I’m loving it
A great watch.
Luv the 'PIP' w/amp...
That instrument sounds fabulous...the way you touch it makes it sing beautifully.
Thank you Derrick 🍻
Absolutely beautiful playing Paul! Thanks for all that gorgeous bending! Quite the treat! Who needs a pedal steel or B bender when you can bend like that! Wish I could but I’ve got a hunch it’s going to take me few years!👍🎸🙏🤌👌😋
Thanks, I’m glad you liked the bending. I’m now resting my fingers 🤣
You’re a genius!🙏🏽
Well thank you man, appreciated 🍻👍
Great sounding guitar and world class playing as usual Paul. Your bends are so in pitch! I think I need to hang up my plectrum and take up knitting...I might get good at that! 😄😄
Thank you Brian! But my wee fingers are kinda hurting now 🤣
Hi Paul, love the sound of these pick-ups, real depth, and the ebony fingerboard, gorgeous! The black tuners look nice too, and would look great with a darkish natural finish and a black pick-guard. There, that's my early Christmas order, thank you! Also, loved the Jim Campilongo stuff, I'd forgotten how amazing he is! Cheers, see you soon!
You truly have a unique style Paul, very refreshing. Love the Tele :)
Thanks man, appreciated
Thank you Paul you’re brilliant video is a great way for me to wake up to on a rainy Sunday morning best wishes as always from Glasgow
Cheers Frank 🍻
SaaaaWWWEEET, great tone, great playing, Jim C is a wizard too...all SO good! That Cornell sounds great, and thos pickups sound amazing
Thanks man, cheers for watching 🍻
Absolutely fantastic have a wonderful day Paul ❤😊
Thanks man, and cheers for watching 👍
So freakin gorgeous brother-I love the variety of sounds and color u coax out of a guitar. Just beautiful. Yes jim c is incredible. The guitar sounds awesome but not a fan of black hardware but i appreciate hes doing his own take.
Beautiful instrument in your hands, Paul. Innovative playing and sweet tones! Tasty treats for a late night here in the ole US of A. Be well and thanks for sharing with us - Neil G.
Thank you Neil. And greetings to you over there in USA. 🍻
That sounds great. I also like the hint of binding effect on the top curve of the body with the wear.
Cheers Graeme 👍
What a fxxxing lovely sounding Tele. Of the many many custom Teles I've heard on CZcams, that one really sings (of course helped no end by the great phrasing and touch of the guy holding it).
Also, didn't expect to hear that accent after the opening music. From a fellow Scot (albeit faraway from home)...just fantastic playing mate.
Also Also...why cant other CZcams channels get decent amp tone like you?
Well thank you Stephen! Your comment has left a big smile on my face. Delighted you like the tones (all recorded just on an iPhone)
Man everything you touch sounds incredible. I'm sure the guitar is great but it wouldn't have mattered in your hands
Thanks man, appreciated 🍻
Seems good! Fender are definitely going to go after him with the headstock shape though - they made MB change theirs, twice!
Cheers for watching Paul 🍻
well that was certainly interesting, my fingers would be in bits if i tried it but enjoyed the breakdown of the style. no the kind of thing you'd be trying at Bannermans on a friday night , but definitely an alternative style to work on the mechanical side of your playing. Looks like a nicely built guitar, would love to see the tuning comparison if you tried that on your custom shop . make sure there's a load of pencil lead in the slots 😃 as always, keeps us wanting more , keep em comin pal, cheers
Thanks Charlie. Yeah, you’re right about trying that in Bannermans. They’re more of a Mott the Hoople and Bowie kinda crowd 🤣. Not much call for Jim Campilongo down the Cowgate.
Good job mate! Unfortunately for me, the Jim Campilongo tutorials haven't been as well received by my hands. 😊
Dang, that's cool! Love a good partscaster (that one seems quite good)! I just wish I could be satisfied with only a Tele. Broke down and have a 470 JL on the way. Sold a bunch of woodworking tools to offset the cost though, so I am still accomplishing something in terms of downsizing. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself. ROFL (shoot me plz).
Fantastic playing! You have a bag full of awesome trics! Is the composition of this piece of yours? It's awesome
Thanks TaffaFilms 👍. The first piece was Jim Campilongo (Blues for Roy), the second piece was my own.
I didn’t like that first clip, I loved that first clip! ❤️❤️❤️
Glad you enjoyed it, cheers drewbarries 🍻
...and are those genuine "sawdust fade" bluejeans then?
As a quick google search confirms you really can’t call it deftone guitars.
