  • The Viture Pro XR Glasses is truly a fascinating Gadget. These Extended Reality / Augmented Reality frames allow you to have a 135 inch display right in your pocket! You can connect them to devices like your Smartphone (iOS & Android), Laptop, Nintendo Switch, and Steam Deck! I've been using these glasses for a few weeks now, and in this video I will break down how they work and give my overall thoughts and review.

Glad to finally see a review that actually has some negative points to it. All the other reviews are so glowing, they felt just like advertisements.

Glad I could help! Yea I noticed the same thing honestly. I can’t wait to see what things they improve on the next version but still they are pretty good

Great review, very thoughtful. About some of the negatives you mentioned, I think that a person’s head, eyes, and vision are unique enough that there’s never going to be a perfect fit and perfect image for everyone. Also, wireless connectivity will probably happen eventually, but then a battery and more hardware inside the glasses will become necessary, so the glasses will get bulkier and heavier, more costly and less comfortable. I think that may defeat the approach, which is to be less cumbersome and less costly than VR headsets.

Great points. Yea I guess it would be better to just invest in making the neckband more comfortable and convenient than to go fully wireless right now unless there’s a big jump in battery tech and efficiency.
As for the size yea it is hard to make a one size fits all, but I still think they could benefit from having different size and shaped most pads

Your videos are always the best, man! I get such FOMO with these glasses and you provided alot of helpful details. They feel so much more comfortable and user friendly than using my Meta Quest for watching shows and movies. Damnnn this is tough 😅

You're too kind! Haha thanks, yea honestly I would choose these over the meta quest personally since they are so much more portable. But also there aren't many VR games for me personally that make the meta quest a must buy just yet.
But they def are on the expensive side...depending on what games you play and stuff I may even consider the cheaper model (XR Lite) it has 120" inch screen and only 60hz refresh rate tho

Looks very promising, but I think that if in the market for it, I'd wait for a price reduction and/or the next version where all the bugs and cons are ironed out.

Word I think honestly it’s very close to being perfected. Like you said tho with some time there may be more competition which would get us to better prices as well.

Is the image 'fixed' or does the image move when you move your head?

      Great video BTW 😊

Great question! I forgot to mention in this video but it supports both having the display in a fixed position (so you can move your head and look at different parts) and the opposite (the image stays the same in front of you no matter where you turn your head)
For this to work on the steam deck there’s a Decky plugin called “XR Gaming” to allow switching between these modes. For laptops, and phones there’s a free app called spacewalker which allows this.
By default without the plugin, the display will always remain in front of your eyes no matter where you move your head.

I really one want but it just looks like it’s too narrow for my head.

On their website you can see what head sizes it is supposed to fit
