    Great video, thanks. Does the Pro Mobile Dock work with other glasses (like Xreal Air 2 Pro)? The previous Mobile Dock has a proprietary USB-C connector and made my purchase useless.

    I don’t really understand why these are marketed so hard to people with handhelds… a device that already has a screen attached to it. I’d be interested in using this with my Xbox. Just curious if it’s a raw video signal and if there’s any latency.

    • @Hubwood
      @Hubwood  Před měsícem +1

      Assuming it's working with any USBC Display output so far I think it is.
      I didn't feel more latency than on other devices. 🤔
      For me personally the Display on the ROG Ally/Steamdeck/Switch is too small. After like 20-30 Minutes of gaming i get uncomfortable. 🤷‍♂️

      @@Hubwood makes sense. I have a steam deck but don’t mind using the built in screen. Haven’t used my Xbox in like a year though because I left my TV at my sister’s place and haven’t bought a new one. I don’t even really have room for one so this could be perfect.

    • @Hubwood
      @Hubwood  Před 24 dny

      Dunno if the ps5 supports usb c display out. Bit it would surely work in combination with the optional mobile doc as that has an hdmi port to translate the signal to your glasses for any hdmi source.

      It must be a requirement for the free hardware because all of them have been like that. But unless the video is sponsored (I've only seen one so far), their opinions seem to be pretty legit. I've seen the whole range of very positive to very, very negative and mixed in-between. So really, you just have to find a non-sponsored video of someone you subscribe to that shares most of your viewpoints already (though it doesn't hurt to check out the super negative ones because they do make valid points).

      I have to disagree, this was an extremely in-depth overview and exactly what I was looking for. Impressions like what you're looking for don't really work well for a product like this since everyone has a different face shape, head size, eyes and varying expectations of screen quality...

    "The biggest advantage of the Pro XR glasses over the Viture One is light output. Viture says it raised the perceived brightness from 500 nits to 1,000 nits, which puts the glasses in line with the levels required to adequately view lots of high dynamic range (HDR) content. For comparison, the Rokid Max glasses go up to just 600 nits."
    Does this mean the Pro XR is recognised as a HDR capable display when connected to a windows PC?
