Got mine last Tuesday and honestly IMO the best car new bright made thus far ❤
I agree, however its the only car using this frame and motor caseing.casting. making it too unique. I hope its a preview of what is next to come from them.
@@backtothetrackgarage8790 if it is what’s to come I’ll be buying more of their corvettes
Thanks for the vid
No problem, check out the next vid to see how to make it faster and add a second motor! Don't forget to subscribe for future conversions and mods.
nice.
I got a different kind of one?
In this video you mentioned the capacitor on the rear motor. Some cars I have also have a capacitor at the on/off switch. What function does that serve, and does it impact the performance of the cars?
Yes, the capacitors give a tiny kick of torque to spin at low volts to the motor and smooths out the electronic noise from the sudden large bursts of full throttle.
On a power switch? A resistor, to me, would make more sense.. but a capacitor...my guess is to prevent the switch from melting or regulate power spikes just from turning it on. ??
I did a little more research after my message (based off the kick start your video provided) and I think your second guess was likely correct on what purpose a capacitor would have on an on/off switch. I have found this setup mostly on cars manufactured by CMJ RC Cars.
hw do i fix the clip on the front my car nose keeps shaking when i drive im talking about the part where you remove the body
I've used paperclips and safety-pins as backups. 😁
@@backtothetrackgarage8790 cuz of that my car nose is starting to break it has cracks on it any way to fix?
I'm still trying to figure out how fast it goes
About 8-9mph.
i have the same one but it stopped accelerating
Sorry to hear, in response to these out-of-the-box flaws...I'm in the middle of making a video going in depth of the issues and fixes for this car. I too am having problems upgrading the motor due to extreme heating up over 180 degrees F.
I got one and the steering stopped working. I can’t figure out why.
Are you modding this or thats out of the box still and It just quit?
@@backtothetrackgarage8790 out the box. I've done no mods to it.
You could try swapping the front motor out with virtually any other 130 motor.
@@backtothetrackgarage8790 I have another rc car from the same brand. It's the orange c8. Would switching the steering servos work?
If they are both New Bright cars there is a great chance that they will fit together. I point this out in my 1:8 scale Corvette video.. If not, the motors should crossover and clip into the esc the same way.
Plz how do u mck the code workkkkk
Sorry for the late reply. The codes only work for "Brand New Xbox Accounts" that had never played online before.
I hit my dads truck tire when I was visiting him and my mom then the front wheels stop I think
Do you mean that they stopped steering left and right or driving fwd and rev?
this car is 1 star out of 5 for real. barelly turns.
Lol I know what you mean. But for being just a toy RC vs Hobby grade; having a spot for a 2nd motor, lights, proportional throttle, and awd makes a decent car for the younger ones who are interested but haven't learned to finesse the controls yet. In fact, you could probably even get away with clearing the body paint and repaint it like a hobby grade body. It's all introductionary. If no one buys the toys they won't get better, same for the hobby grade ones of course.
For $13 at Target, for a car that detailed of that size, and with game pass, that's pretty good
I have that
It's one of New Bright's best cars!
what's the top speed?
Depending on the surface you drive, freshly unboxed the speed is 8-10Mph.
@@backtothetrackgarage8790 what about a full charge on payvment? im thinking of getting one as a late Christmas toy
On Blacktop I'd say 9mph, older rocky pavement 8mph. Gym floor would push 10-11. That's why I recommend a complete electronics swap. But you can get away with just a motor swap to start.
I was racing it in a parking lot and i put it in the middle and I was at the beginning and I raced it and I won 😅 I’m 10 years old btw 😳
@@Dash5O No, it's not very fast. In fact, after some math, even with a brushless motor it would top out at 18-20mph. So I'm trying to come up with a Gearing mod to take it to 30.
I have 2 of them
Since you have an extra one, try out this conversion for better control and better acceleration czcams.com/video/7gLFuR26yVE/video.html
And you can easily see for yourself the performance difference. Then, my other episode on putting a second motor in czcams.com/video/Eh1mE0RJclE/video.html the extra torque makes it perfect for Drifting.
I'm currently working on a motor winding mod episode for it now so be sure to subscribe so you don't forget to check it out.
Disappointing it just stopped working on me I thought it was dead
I also have to keep turning it back on and off over and over
Yours sounds like also the battery is going bad. These new Lipo batteries are supposed to be charged when they hit 50%. Kinda like a Forklift, once it goes under that, the battery needs to be equalized for at least 24 hours on the charger or it'll die completely. Normally the low-battery-cutoff kicks in to prevent that and shuts down the car. They should be stored with more than 50 but not necessarily 100% charged... I have before with no issues but not good practice. Between 60 and 80% for storage.
THIS CAR IS CRASH
Trash? Maybe compared to some other cars, sure. Modded, it's better.
Wtf the codes dnt work😭😭😭🥱
