'Young And Restless' Star Victoria Rowell On TV Racism | shift | msnbc
Victoria Rowell is telling the truth ... I pray she wins.
Victoria turns 60 this year....and looks fantastic.
I was so upset when she left Y&R! She was my favorite character on the show. I actually cried when she left. I didn’t know as a white woman that she was going through so much on that show. I loved the Winters family. Starting with aunt Mimi. She was a blessing in herself to be on that show. I remember Victoria’s first day as Drucella. I watched her and immediately knew she was a great actress, she did very well. I always liked when her storyline was upfront in the open. But like I said I did not know that she was going through so much I would’ve left to.
Wow! My first time seeing this, she was very beautiful still is and I always wonder why she left because her character was explosive...
Strong woman. Very beautiful spirit. I'll be pulling for her. Hope she wins her lawsuit.
I back Victoria and been watching soaps for years, would love to see her back on the soap
The interviewer is making light of a serious issue. Disgraceful.
It's true; only White women are allowed to show anger; black women are expected to sit down and keep their mouths shut, no matter HOW UNJUST their situation might be. No wonder black women are angry! Jones, take SEVERAL seats!
It’s been happening since the beginning. I’m glad that Victoria stood up to these racist people.
She was amazing on ynr also liked olivia both of them should of won emmys for there superb acting. 😢 dont watch soaps anymore
Carla Linton. Victoria Rowell sure is telling it like it is. About Television Racism.
Day time TV been racist there's only one black couple on the show the only black couple ever was Neal and her or malcom and the woman he was with.So she's right
this white woman kept interrupting her and it's passive aggressive.
I love and appreciate Ms. Rowell's activism, diligence and knowledge of the racist television industry. To combat racism in Hollywood, I refuse to watch. If we collectively turn off the t.v. they lose money. We have to hit them in the wallet.
The TV host was not trying to let Victoria say that meetings with Sharpton and other gatekeepers are meaningless, 😂.

POWERFUL AMAZING THANKS YOU⚘ VICTORIA ♥️🖤💚BROWN FAMILY DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜.
I loved Victoria Rowell on Y&R.She added a much needed black character on the show. There was only Mamie on the show played by Veronica Redd. Racism is wrong!!! She played Druscilla brilliantly. My extended family has watched this show since I was a child in the 1970s.
Amen Victoria
Victoria is a hero. She hit right on point!
