May is National Foster Care Month. Marc Lamont Hill sits down with daytime soap star Victoria Rowell about growing up in the foster care system and her new show “The Rich and the Ruthless.”
“We have 60,000 children in Los Angeles. We have 400,000 any given time in the HHS foster care system, 100 000 children always available for adoption,” Rowell says. “We have a lot of work to do with HHS. I have really embraced my background in foster care. I never left the community.”
