    This is a full flight test recorded. My flying is really getting rusty after 6 months hiatus of flying while focusing in completing the cockpit every weekends. It took almost 12 months to complete. Final build include upgrade of PC to latest config of 7950X3D and 4090 to allow triple 4K with another additional 5 monitors in the cockpit. It push the PC and MSFS2020 to the limits achieving only around 28-40 fps on ground and in the sky.
    Got some problem in Auto Pilot mid way need to fly manual and flying low almost crash to ground speed up to poor landing... :) but again a successful full flight test. To know what can be done to improve on the setup and settings. Next thing to do:
    1. Delete and reset all caches to reduce stuttering despite FPS is quite OK
    2. Setting OBS audio recording settings
    3. Setup Top down camera for inset of MCDU shots
    Others?
    1. DIY Overhead, Pedestal and Main Instrument panels.
    2. Winwing A320 Joystick, MFG A320 Rudder Pedal, Modified A320 mini Throttletek Throttle, Java Simulator FCU and MCDU
    3. Mosty using Arduino Mega (6 sets) via Mobiflight (awesome apps)
    4. Welded metal frame, plywood base, MDF panel enclosures
    Monitors
    1. 3x 4K 65inch TV running DLSS 3 frame gen, Balance settings got 27-42 fps on ground and in the sky
    2. 1600x900 hdmi monitor for PFD ND
    3. 1920x1080 hdmi monitor for ECAM
    4. 800x600 hdmi MCDU
    5. 1280x720 hdmi EFB display
    6. 1920x1080 hdmi Utility display for showing various apps incl. Mobiflight, PC Hwinfo, soundpad, JS connect for mcdu and fcu.
    PC
    AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, DDR5 2x 32GB 6000 CL32, Asus TUF X670E Plus Wifi running Beta Bios for SOC voltage protection 1412
    RTX 4090, 2TB Seagate Firecuda 530 gen 4 M.2 + others 2TB Satat SSD, 1TB gen3
    Windows 11 Pro
    MSFS Apps
    FBWA32nx Dev version, FSHUD, Navigraph charts and apps, several airport addon. I try to mijimize addon to reduce CPU bottleneck
    btw its CPU bottleneck not GPU at this moment

    👍Super Cockpit congratulations.
    12 months is really not much, I've been trying for 3 years I'm always notfinished
    What communication voice software do you use?

    • @hobbytechgear4574
      @hobbytechgear4574  Před rokem

      Its not a comm just simulated voice. Initially bought FS2Crew but then Im using the voices usjng Soundpad with trigger in joystick main switch to play next so I could control myself

    I have a question, how did you get it to work with msfs?
    And when i say that, im speaking off the screen and removing the cockpit/flightdeck ingame so that the only cockpit you can see is the "real" one that you're sitting in + aligning the screens so that it all matches with your home cockpit.

      Not ideal solution as msfs do not provide that option so I do custom cockpit view where aive move forward just in front of the cockpit windshield

    Halo One question about the overhead. How did you configure mobiflight for switches. Could you give an example. It's easy with buttons. With switch Retriger or precondition?

      Hi is it about 3 position switches? for those Im using electronic solution first by puting the center position using a NAND gate where each input connected to each on on position so if they both 1 or OFF position the out put of NAND will be 0 meaning it's center position selected. While if either 1 0 or 0 1 then the output of NAND will be 1 so we got 3 position switch each of the position will be read by shift register or digital input to Arduino mega and set the condition of the position in the Mobiflight accordingly

      Im planning to create a video on the DIY build but today I'm still trying to use it first flying more rather than create video. I'm still an employee so most working day are full so only left weekend to use it :):) 😄

      Thanks for the answer.
      I would be interested to know what your entry in the Mobiflight Connector looks like.
      Example: Input Output (L TK Fuel 1)
      When I use for (L TK Fuel 1)PB Type MT it works fine
      But if I use for (L TK Fuel 1)Type TG
      Doesn't always correctly recognize the open state TG for me.
      But with your video it works quite well with TG.

      Oh yes I ve put an IF THEN kind of statement to the A320 DEV of the L and R tank to check if its already pressed it wont execute if its still unpressed it willthen press. Will paste the code here. I did not put it in the hubhop though but seems people haven't put any too for toggle. Also for center tank they use VALVE instead of PUMP command and code 9 and 10 for both center tank (refer to latest mod in DEV version I think they might migrate already to Stable now? not sure

    • @richardkoch2644
      @richardkoch2644 Před rokem

      Yes, I have Flybywire Dev Version.
      Thank you. That would be great if you could write the code.
      I'm still a beginner in the matter.

    Does/could this work with the fenix a320?

    • @hobbytechgear4574
      @hobbytechgear4574  Před rokem +1

      Unfortunately fenix do not allow variables to be read via mobiflight so mostly for input, thus the lighfs might not be reflected, but I read someone is able to cirumvent this
