I admire the arrangement of the screens. They are mounted perfectly. And so the whole setup gives the impression of sitting really high up in the cockpit. Awesome!
I use this for negotiating my next tech purchase with my wife. “I’m thinking of something like this?” “Wwwwwwehhhhhhhhaaasasttt?” “Ok i’ll tone it down to a rtx4090”
it's amazing this all works. just thinking about all the sourcing of parts, wiring it up and making it work and other stuff involved makes me want to go sit in a corner and go "fwibble"
People with such kind of setup always end up posting few videos and quitting. Norwegian 737 Project had a full cockpit sim but he barely post no more. This is lovely at least post once every two weeks. Beautiful build my brother.
Norwegian 737 project, the sim he have is available to rent. So it's not a private setup. That's why he is not posting very often. I have a full size sim, we are not that active on CZcams yet but are starting to make some videos now. But we are active on tiktok with live streams. 737_800xnorway
I agree with one of the comments some narration or word pop-up boxes explaining your autopilot/fmc, pushback, engine startup....would make it more interesting! Impressive setup!
That is a home Flight Simulator???? I am shocked by how real that is. At first I thought it was an actual cockpit of the airliner. Or something you would see at Boeing in their flight simulators for pilot trainings. Amazing video. take care.
@noosebrother my wife got me into a plane for the first time a few years ago. 4 planes actually. I hate flying and we went from Washington state to Florida. I was nervous the entire time.
@@justintime41776 my first flight was on a 747 400. I had a centre seat and because we were flying on that special employee thing (my dad was an aircraft mechanic) where you can go for a discounted price but have no say where you end up in the plane, my dad was somewhere else. I sat next to an extremely nervous orthodox jewish person that wouldn't stop rocking back and forth silently chanting and murmering, and a nice lady that kept telling me that take-off and flying was easy, it's just that landing was a controlled crash.. it was a 12 or 14 hour flight from Amsterdam to New York. With all the lovely flavours of turbulence and screaming babies added to the mix. It's been well over 20 years now since that flight and apart from one relapse where I took a plane to dublin I managed to keep to boats and trains for now. XD
I would love an Airbus cockpit- similar to A380 and just fly. What a phenomenal setup from air traffic control to flight attendant management, only thing missing is the inflight entertainment and the flight meal. I’ll probably do the whole setup and include a 7-16 hour flight time, anyway that was awesome flight.
It’s funny but as a young pilot I dreamed of working in such an environment, but after many years climbing the ladder to heavy metal (Airbus for me) after a few years I hated it! Airlines was worst job as flying a ‘bus’, bored shirtless everyday, now retired I don’t miss it one bit!
This dude is living for the day he's a passenger in a flight, and an announcement comes on over the loudspeaker saying, "There is an emergency situation with the pilot! Does anyone know how to fly this plane!?"
I don't understand how their perspective of the screens line up when the point of view moves around the cabin. Is it one big screen outside of the cabin as opposed to separate ones?
Awesome bro! I have one of these and it’s prob 60% complete. It’s so fun no doubt. I just don’t know enough about this stuff. I’d totally pay for some tech support to make all this legit. I have no clue what I’m doing as far as wiring goes and scripts etc. where you located my friend? I’m in the Sf bay area CA. This is beyond beautiful man. Good job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Curious why so many home built flight decks use P3D? Isn’t every function modeled by PMDG in XP? Love the center pedestal with the Printer. What brand are the major components or did you make and wire it all yourself?
I just want to say. Good Luck! We ‘re all counting on you!
hahahaha I was gonna type the same thing. Thanks!

Striker, listen, and you listen close: Flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.
Don’t turn on the lights. That’s what they will be expecting us to do
This is nerdgasm level 11 stuff - and I love it!
Nothing says ‘pro sim rig’ more than fluffy seat covers…
Thx for sharing, looks amazing!
You're just jealous 😂😂

The radio charters are just out of this world man..that's just the coolest thing I have seen
Now I am inspired to turn my disused cockpit into a spare room simulator.
... and at 25000 feet your wife comes inside the cockpit and tells you to shot your "game" off, the dinner is ready.... 😂🤣 [nice work btw 👍]
I believe she radios in... it's all about the sim
This guy doesn't have a wife. No one who's ever tried sex would build this.
There’s no way he has this set up and a wife.
He’s married to the hobby.
😂
How much is the Instrument excluding the Program of that kind of Simulator.
Awesome setup, that's 100% dedication to a game and obvious hobby.
I admire the arrangement of the screens. They are mounted perfectly. And so the whole setup gives the impression of sitting really high up in the cockpit.
Awesome!
One of the most phenomenal home built things I’ve ever seen. Brilliant 👍
RIP the person in the van @11:10
I noticed that, too! 😂😂
Reminded me of internal flights in Africa.........
I guess he's not playing that part of the sim lol
😂
it's an United Airlines flight, casualties are to be expected.
Probably better build than what Boeing is building at the moment 😂
My mind is completely blown away. Congratulations! I am seriously impressed with everything you've accomplished.
What an awesome way to spend an inheritance.

This is absolutely mind blowing 🤯 and amazing. Awesome job!!! I love it
simply the best keep up the good work love your set up
A lot of work went into this simulator. Look at the detail. Beautiful job.
it's amazing this all works. just thinking about all the sourcing of parts, wiring it up and making it work and other stuff involved makes me want to go sit in a corner and go "fwibble"
Seems like it would have been easier to just become a pilot
Awesome job Fabien.
I can’t even imagine the amount of work and money you’ve put into this but it looks amazing !
Amazing setup.
So amazing! Congratulations!
Wow! Amazing set up. Well done!!!
Awesome setup. I'll have to stick with my VR setup as I love staying married to my wife. Lol. She says my hobbies are already too expensive.
Superb.... what a thing to have waiting for you when you get home from work. Great, great simulator!

Amazing 🤩 Can you feel when you go left, right, up and down like a real flight training simulator?
It would be more fun flying with a First Officer I would think. It is a stunning achievement though nice work.
In flight sims🤣
Only thing missing in these fully sim set ups , is the wind turbalance and a gyro with pistons underneath the chassis on the floor.
pretty much a real training sim for pilots at that point lol
