- The Yohtron 88L Cabinet Humidor sounds like the holy grail of electric humidors. Supposedly, this unit controls temperature, humidity, and airflow for you. Plus it's described as having a lot of features that other electric humidors don't. However, as we all know, every humidor comes with it's own pros and cons. In this review, we'll take a close look at this 88 liter behemoth and see exactly what it has to offer. That is one sexy humidor. I have so many Tupperware and other devices I’m using I’ve been considering an electric humidor for a while. So far this is the first one that really appeals. I recommend pulling the trigger, it’s well worth getting rid of all the devices you mentioned. Thermo-electric humidors are definitely a set it & forget it mind set.
Terrific review. I’m in the process of converting a closet into a humidor as I want greater capacity than I have seen for home units but this gem looks inviting.

I have been using the New Air for the past 2 years which holds 840 cigars . I have not had any problems with it and it has kept my cigar collection fresh. Love It.
The 840 doesn’t dial in humidity right? Wondering how “good” these newer ones actually work with dialing temp and humidity in anyways

I just ordered the Yohtron YC-248 248L model. 45-55 days for delivery, but I'm getting a custom cabinet.
I had them make it without any branding... no Yohtron on the door, shelves divided, and no strange guy on the shelves!.
I wouldn't mind knowing exactly who you contacted at Yohtron to get yours custom built, I was looking at doing the same thing, I also saw one of these with individual cigar holder trays, that I thought were unique. Semper Fi
You know for all the reviews, have some other questions that you may want to look into/answer. We have all bought latest and greatest on electronic items only for said company to no longer be in business. So, finding out more about the actual company would be good so that they are around/available when support/repairs are needed - would be important information. Also, maybe some "long term" updates on some of the cabinets would be fitting. How did they hold up? Were there any things that went wrong. Obviously, looking for a machine that is repairable and won't "brick" would be good information.

@@dinesh0580 zieun is a sub-brand of raching, an upgraded version of the raching product.
I have a unit that works exactly the same way. Use the BEADS! The beads work really well and don't make a mess. I love this type of unit. The compressor motor works a bit faster and better and when using beads the humidity part works very well too. The beads will last approximately 6 months to a year depending on how often you open it. Use beads!

@TheMrTJOX there isn't any dividers. There are 4 shelves and I divide sticks from shelf to shelf and then within the shelf by size. Works great, still no complaints.

Hello.... Great review. Wish you would have touched on the fact that the film in the water tray needs to be changed out every 3 months. Which I think Is a conn. Also the drawer on the bottom is not meant for an accessories drawer it is a cigar drying drawer. Love your channel.

Is this one consistent. Like set it and forget it? I have digital hygrometers in my 50l and it fluctuates really hard up and down .
What about circulation? Does the fan draw air down and send it up through the back to the vents behind the shelves? I think I saw some slots in the back wall.

I have a New Air 1500 and the Yohtron 2200ct. I like them both but the Yohtron is much better. Love the lights and the shelves better. Also the water reservoir lasts a long time. The first fill lasted 6 months before I had to add any DW

I see it on Amazon it says it has a compressor. Is it still a thing Thermoelectric VS Compressor. Do compressor powered fridges pull out more humidity than thermoelectric?
I have the newair 840 and that’s only because I got it dirt cheap. I like how I can just set it and forget about it for about 2 weeks until I have to put in more distilled water. Overall I like the unit bottom shelf could be bigger.

So how well does it work?
2 way temperature? My current one is colong only.... is Wisconsin heat would be good during bitter cold winters.

Did you test the accuracy of this unit. Often you will set 65% humidity but you really get 70!
to me the best part about these things is that they are so popular now, they are driving down the price of regular wooden humidors. last black Friday, I bought a 500 dollar DIAMOND CROWN for$149!!!! That's why I love this new fad😂😂😂😂😂😂

So because it has a built in humidification I don't have to use Boveda packs???? Just want to clarify?
No need for boveda packs, but if you add humidity beads you will extend the time for refilling the water reservoir, again no need either you can use water and that is it.

What is the lifespan? Before I shell out that kind of cash I would need to ensure it's got a good lifespan or my wife would kill me. Other than questions, it's got everything I would want to keep my stogies happy.

This looks very similar to the Raching MA50 humidor for about the same price. Although the shelves on this one are better but the Raching shelves don't have some dude face on them lol.
