Wolverine doesn't just have the healing factor and adamantium skeleton/claws. He has superhuman strength, speed, agility, and stamina, AND vastly heightened senses (particularly his sense of smell; he can even smell certain forms of EM radiation) as well as "animal instincts" which help him survive in the wild or in combat.

I’m surprised the AVGN didn’t do a review on Arcade’s Revenge being that that game had was too many flaws for a 16 bit game and unforgivingly difficult. Had the wolverine stage theme to this as my ringtone all last year

I remember this game being super hard as a kid, with Psylocke's stage being hardest of the bunch _(admit it, we've all paused the game when doing Psylocke's leg sweep)._
I could never throw Gambit's cards or use Cyclops' laser on command, so I'd just mash buttons and barely get through the stages that required them.
The presentation though, especially the music, made this game worth playing alone. Whenever a Sentinel would appear as a boss, it would always be a badass moment as a kid.

Snipe M.D it's really not hard. You kinda made it much harder. Don't know why but I figured out the button presses fast. Maybe cause I like SF
