    I have been wanting to ask you about the change up with the wheels and rims. When you knew that you were ready to go bigger with the tires and change the rims, what did you end up doing with the ones you had one the truck before going for the change. ? I have the opportunity to do so, but trying to figure out where to store or keep the ones on the truck. I realize that keeping them maybe beneficial but when you know that the changes your about to do is where you want, where can you go to give the tires and rims away if you know deep down your never going to go back to those?

    I have a 285/75/17 so it’s a (33.8)” so basically a 34”. I dident have any rubbing issues in the street. But for offroad use I trimmed some of the inner fender liner, and I of coarse did a cab mount chop. Doesent matter what size you go, 33”, 34”, 35” you should be doing a cab mount chop. I would highly recommend it as in my opinion. The 33s just look a little small to me. And 35s just have their issues so this is a perfect middle.

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  Před 3 lety +1

      Honestly I haven't noticed any power loss, if there is it's so insignificant especially on a truck, I don't even notice. You could run 33''s on a 2.5'', may need some trimming depending on the width of the tire and offset of the wheel. The offroad does not, but the TRD Pro's have about a 1'' lift over the stock height.

    Call me crazy, but smaller tires would be the appropriate course of action.

      What's your reasoning behind that? Everyone has a preference and after I did a new alignment, I have zero rubbing and this does great offroad!

    Wow what a waste of time. A new wheel will make it rub more not less. You need a deeper cmc

      Not a waste of time for me, all part of the build, I don't have to trim now since there's no rubbing. I realize I have to trim more so just another mod to do when I get new wheels!

      @@lespaulguitarist92 I know! Been down this road before with my last setup, did the cmc and had no issues, now with a larger tire, the cab relocation is next, which I planned for already!
