Touch a guy Byron Russell's size with a hand and fling him that far? Nah. No push by that era's standards either. No one complained, they knew what was on the line.

I'm one who thinks Michael Jordan is the GOAT and I remember watching these NBA Finals both against the Utah Jazz back when I was a teenager. Many thought this would or could be the year MJ lost in the Finals and favored the Jazz but MJ wouldn't let it happen. I always thought that if John Stockton being a pass first guy would have taken more shots for his team they might of defeated the Bulls this year. I think Stockton was only 6ft 1 inches tall but his hands were huge. They used to dangle down from his wrists like Velasor Raptor claws! 😆 but along with his record breaking assist stats he had a very good 3 point shot and would often hit big 3's in the playoffs. Notice how after Stockton hit his last 3 pointer to put the Jazz up by 3 they come back from commercial and say what a big shot from Stockton he now has 10 points. That's it? 10 points? He just didn't shoot that often.
At this time in June of 1998 Michael Jordan was 35 years old but just turned 35 4 months earlier in February. MJ wanted to keep on playing and keep this Bulls team together but the Bulls GM Jerry Krause fired Phill Jackson and broke this team up. Can you believe it? This team just won 3 chips in a row and you still don't do whatever Jordan says to keep him with your team? Smh Phill Jackson made it out alright though going on to coach the Shaq and Kobe led Lakers winning 3 in a row in 2000 , 2001 , and 2002.

Firing Phil was part of the NBA script. It should be obvious. Bryant and Shaq had played together a couple of years and now it was time for the NBA to pass the league over to some young marketable talent. The NBA is not real competition, it is entertainment and it is similar to Pro Wrestling.

Stockton was a really amazing player. He really really was. One of if not the greatest PG ever.

The belief Rodman has in Jordan's free throws... Rodman does not even go in for the rebound, he goes straight down the court to play defense. That is believing in your team mate.

scored with a drive/lay...forced a turnover with another steal....then make the go ahead jumper for your 6th championship...against one of the absolute best duos in league history...THINK ABOUT THIS....MALONE was 2nd in all-time points...and STOCKTON is the all-time assist leader 15,806 with assists (#2 is almost 4000 assists behind - Jason Kidd)....and they never won a ring BECAUSE OF JORDAN...he was THAT good....Lebron hasn't dominated like that...seems that every star nowadays has a ring by switching teams :/ Lebron hasn't stopped any other greats/duos from being champions...

In the previous year in the last game, there were 3 players on Jordan at the last shot, but he pass to Steve Kerr for 3 points (MJ planned that in the timeout). So putting more people on MJ is also dangerous.

as a 90s hardcore knicks fan, I HATED jordan and the bulls, but at this point what was one more ring? If Ewing didnt get a ring, then Malone nor stockton neither but really, i didnt root for neither team, but I still watched, from El Salvador, with my family.
That call against Rodman, the refs didnt like him, and I didnt like him, but the refs had it in for him, and he deserved a lot of that and only has his own @$$ to blame for being a target..
Watching the play closely, Jordan watched that pass from stockton to malone the entire time, and stole it. he ANTICIPATED that pass, but yea, the Jazz were being too predictable there, as always.
Back then I thought it was a push, but now it was more of a nudge.. Russells own momentum took him 6 feet in that direction.

Just laughing at Lebron superfans pushing for their idol as the GOAT of basketball. But just real talk, you can't be a goat in a physical game like basketball if you're a big flopper. Some of his flops are so ridiculous, I wonder if he's still playing basketball. Give this guy his OSCARS! I've read some superfans defend his flopping, as him doing everything to win. WHAT? You resort to flopping just to win? That just another reason he couldn't be THE GOAT. Otherwise, you just make the game a joke. A great player lebron is, true. But far from being the GOAT.

You can’t be a 🐐in basketball dominating the weakest era in NBA history, with your signature game being guarded by Byron Russell and Jeff Horncek. No 🐐comes out of an era with a shortened 3 point line 😂😂

Jordan was tired because of how much he hustled down the court. I've never seen anyone steal the basketball like Jordan.
