I love how he talks about “primal living” while sleeping on a huge king bed in a fluffy mansion. I was just as annoyed with that as the juicing 😂

Yeah and if you weren’t working out regularly and started by buying hundreds of dollars’ worth of supplements - expensive mistake to learn from.
I mean people are told that these unrealistically built people are just doing normal exercises. And with human interaction being in the state that is they don’t know any better. I’m glad there are people working out though. But he creates this impossible standard then sells to his audience for a substantial profit.

People believe in romanticized versions of life and have little interaction or experience. These guys tell them that everyone is out to get them, so you can’t trust anyone but them. That’s a pandemic in America in general.
As a Mongolian who grew up eating a ton of grass fed grade A meat, beef and sheep liver tastes better when it’s medium rare but not raw. It’s pretty nutritious but nothing more than a great source of protein and iron. Not sure how people believed him and thought raw liver made him look like that. I mean a simple google search was all it needed.

I don't know, I head a lot of people tried eating raw meat like him and got sick from it. I get that it built up the brand and whatnot, but his message caused physical harm to people. That's kind of messed up.
I'm more shocked there are people who didn't realize he was juicing than when it actually came out that he was in fact juicing.

Paul Saladino's apology video was nothing more than damage control (he must have known his friend was on steroids), but at least he came across as being sincere about his reasoning, in that he said he was going to distance himself for his own sake. Never trust anyone who's job is to get attention and monetize that attention. There are zero standards to that profession. Practitioners aren't required to be honest, intelligent, informed, thoughtful, fair, humble, careful, responsible or accurate: they just have to A. get lots of attention, B. monetize as much of that attention as possible. Why haven't people figured this out yet? That covers a lot of people if you think about it: artists, athletes, actors, pundits, podcasters, preachers, pornstars, YTers, etc. Are they all vile and disgusting dishonest scumbags? No. But you should assume they are until you have solid proof to the contrary. It's the rare human who can remain uncorrupted by making a career out of narcissism.
