👋Hi David,
Wow, my friend, just Wow!
I watch many of your videos & all are of great quality & content.
I just saw this episode of beautiful Lebanon appear & it's already such awesome viewing, that I will watch the entire video.
I really love Lebanon & the fantastic people of this gorgeous & historical country.
May God bless the people of Lebanon, as they're good people & gosh, they've endured much over many years past.
They're resilient, strong & hardy people & they get on with life & sort things out, to the best of their ability, no matter what's thrown their way.
Great hospitality abound & they're so giving toward mere strangers.
I can only wish the wonderful people of Lebanon the very best that this life has to offer & because they give so much of themselves & they give with their heart on their sleeve, they so deserve to receive from all others.
The info presented here is great & as it's such a lengthy video, this to me, makes it 10 times better! The longer the video, the more awesome content to view & because I'm often working in my kitchen when I'm not working, I get to enjoy viewing these wonderful videos.
The people, the amazing food, the rich & vibrant culture, the stunning architecture abound, the music, the scenery, specifically the ancient history/scenery, is simply mind blowing beautiful!!
In reference to smoking & IMPO, I agree with you, in that it's a bad habit & isn't good for our lungs, but I can also accept & appreciate, varying global cultures & their specific daily living habits, be it good or bad.
As the old saying goes, we can change ourselves, but we have no control, over what others choose to do.
Thank you for sharing your many travels with we viewers. They're always appreciated & enjoyed my friend.
Peace✌
Wow thank you so much for such a kindhearted comment! So grateful for your support and so glad you enjoy the longer form content too. I totally agree about Lebanon and I'm wishing you a blessed week ahead!
Waiting for the kibbeh.
God bless you too. This was a very kind comment 🙏❤️

My goodness everything looks so good, was blessed to visit Israel this past year, barely got into the border of Lebanon and Syria. I would love to go back and really meet the people and try the food LOOKS SO GOOD! Love the hard work behind these videos and most of all just seeing your connections with everyone you meet, just pure love exuding from the interactions. Apart from the food and culture, one of my favorite things about traveling - connecting with the people! God bless you! Keep it up, thank you.

Amazinnnnng videos

Lebanon is amazing country ❤
Am I the only one who noticed the girl in the background eating the tree???? Lol
I think someone needs to explain to Torino chicken the difference between roasted and fried. Dear Torino, the chicken is fried no where near roasted, roasted means you put the chicken in a pan and in the over/roasted, fried means you fry the chicken in oil, like French fries, fried kibbi, etc. I visited Palestine a few years ago loved the food in Jerusalem, Palestine, and all the delicious hummus, kababs, kenfa, and the hundreds of Palestinian delicious cuisines. Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon all share the same food, all three countries were referred to as Blad Alsham (countries of Alsham). It is a shame how the continuois Israeli attacks on the region has set the economy and tourism back. You can still see the aftermath of the 1982 Israeli attach on Lebanon, and throughout the past decades. Somehow my Italian roots always take me back home to Italy but I still love the Syrian and Palestinian cuisine, of course Lebeanese as well.
Um. Do you not listen correctly? Broasted, not roasted. We call it broasted chicken in Lebanon, which exactly means pressure frying in oil.
i love this guy
this dude is a non stop eating machine!!!
basturma and sucuk are Turkish my brother, i’m Arminian born in Turkiye, i appreciate your love for the Armenian people in Armenia Lots of love
You like to eat hot pepper i can't eat pepper that spicy just for flavour from trinidad
I lived in Lebanon for 8 years. I havent been in 8 years as well i need to go back
Mmm I love Lebanese food
I am from lebanon this is cool XD
David could you find out what that roaster machine is called?
Let's go vato
I am %100 Lebanese, mashalah 🙏
NOTHING and I mean NOTHING beats Lebanese food.
There is no competition
🇱🇧🇱🇧❤️❤️
Best food in the world if it's home cooked, what this man can't show you is anything that's left from people that couldn't finish their meal, they'll server it to others so be careful people.
Hi David, how are the Lebanese dealing with the crazy inflation. Is there food scarcity or is it life as usual.
Life as usual 😅
As a Lebanese I can tell you we're still partying we're still going to restaurants and people still live like before albeit more difficult on those who already were less fortunate before the crisis, but anyone even lower middle class and up are living like they used to for the most part
Just wondering do you feed those people who showed you around. I think it’s about right to share them the food you showed on your doc! You’re a good entertainment!
Of course I feed them 😂
Moussaka originated in the Levant, not in Greece. Historical records show that it was invented in the Levant. Later, Arab immigrants brought the dish to Greece via Turkey.

David’s Mmmmmmm face is better than Marks “oh woooow”

Im from Lebanon
David, Do Age Regression Be Open You Obviously Carry Some Indian Genes ( Jeans) ❤❤ Love Beirut🎉
Can I say David doesn’t share food well 🤣🤣 you need to order two for you and the guest lmao. Watch all your videos and I’m now on the hunt for Lebanese food in Toronto.
Very good video. But i noticed that in these kind of videos all foreigners don't know how to eat using lebanese bread. Someone must teach them. When u make a small piece of bread u have to make it like a spoon and close it by turn it on itself and keep holding it by ur hand and ofcourse leaving it open from the other side. Now it depends on the type of the food, if it is like hommos or labnen u can dive in and if the food is like beans or more liquid than hommos u use the spoon to fill the bread. In this way, when u eat it nothing will leak from the bread.
I can Eat Shawarma and Shish taouk every day!!!💯💯💯🥰🥰🥰🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧
Arak..They tell me that it is called ..LIONS MILK..
MARK WIENS and You should be able to make good shows on Travels and Foods.
اوووف حتي لبنان يحط ايدو علي اكل الزباين ؟ 😂😂😂❤
David, lovely video, as a foodie I have watched your videos including, your earlier days with an Asian woman and flirting with all sorts of chilli sauces. One thing of note, though, is you do not chew your food before swallowing. Apart from indigestion, there is a danger to the colons in later life, or do you chew off-camera?
Of course I chew 😂 I just like to have more fast cuts and less me eating 😂
@@Davidsbeenhere Thanks man, love your videos a lot.
The Torino Chicken is a Lebanese version of KFC,, yummy 😋
unc chiefing the shisha 😂😂😂

🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪👏👏👏👏
😂😂 you just be eating all of the food and the other guys gets what like three bites thats it lmao you funny
Was literally just about to say I watch these people all the time that do these and wonder if they pay for the other persons meal as well, personally If I brought someone on to my channel and was making money off it I’d pay for all there stuff and own meals not saying he doesn’t
I came here to actually say I cannot stand this guy. Lmfao I always watch @GoWithAli and this guy keeps coming up in my queue and I hate it. His videos are boring, he has no personality and the worst fucking manners I’ve ever seen lmao.
I think Western people don’t have a sharing food culture like Arabs or South Asians or Malaysia and Indonesian people. Arabs are famous for their hospitality though.
👍👍👍👍👍👍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰
I’m Lebanese/African I love my Lebanese food🥰
Some say that BEIRUT is the Paris of the middle east??
The guy with him should've introduced the food culture to him and let him try it, but he ate all the food instead
I know right.
The chicken gyro is for ladies, children and tourists. The meat gyro (pork, beef, lamb) is for men.
Lol what a stupid mentality
But your Not in Armenia...And not to worry ...We have coworkers that come from Armenia here in Montreal, Quebec...And I love the Armenian Pizza..🥰🥰..Lamba jiheen
Vad är det för kött?
Basterma can made with beef meat or pork meat
3:41:05......good show........
Was this recent? Why are you wearing a mask? And am I reading that receipt for the chicken and potatoes right $136???
TLDR: The 136$ actually was worth 8.8$ at the time the vid was made, which means you'd be paying 8.8$ after calculations and not 136$... Now it's even cheaper, closer to 5$
Yes you did read it right but there is an explanation to it, which is that the value of the Lebanese currency is reversed proportionally to that of the US dollar...
As in when the dollar goes up the Lebanese currency goes down and the opposite is true..
so when the crisis hit Lebanon and the Lebanese currency's downgraded insanely, as in if I was to buy pita bread in 2019 that would cost me 1500(=1$), at the time he was here it'd have probably been around 20000(=13$) on the official rate....
But here is the catch, although it shows 136$, that 136$ is representative of the official 1500=1$ rate, which is why restaurants have to put it that way, when in reality the black market rate was around 23000=1$...
in other words, instead of multiplying 136 by 1500 to get the final value in Lebanese currency, what you actually do, you first do multiply 136 by 1500 but then divide it by 23000 to get the value in $...
Which means: 136x1500=204000 Lebanese Lira, to get the final value in dollars:
204000÷23000=8.8$, that's how much you're paying.
@BigNasouyi I actually did read it and maybe I'm getting old but had to look up what TLDR meant 😂 Personally, I don't think anything with actual worth is too long to read... So TY for this explanation! It hurt my head but it does clarify things.
$8 American is a huge underpayment for a dish like that! I have a Lebanese woman at my nursing facility and tried to see if she had a recipe for the chicken and potatoes. Unfortunately she didn't cook but she did enjoy watching her home country 😊 My hopes for tourists visiting is they tip extremely well!!! Also unfortunately the travel advisory from the US to Lebanon doesn't advise travel there. I watched this video (with much envy) and the food looks far better than what most the US puts out, which is highly shameful... and at a far cheaper cost.Other than going organic (which we have questionable and confusing warnings) the rest of the world should not try and replicate a western diet... It's toxic.
Wrongly explained bout the 136$
He means 136 thousand lebanese.. The dollar stayed the same but the Lebanese currency collapsed..
I enjoy watching this channel only thing is he eats way to fast and everything is good in his mouth
Between Syria and an Palästina
You never had Bacon and eggs or sausage and eggs?
I heard that the Lebanese economy is Bad???..Seems like it's doing well!🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰
